@GavinS1965 Well, it could happen to anyone, I have come close though a few times. I just check before I pull out. I have forgotten the glad-hands before and pulled them off :(
Some wharehouses in the Uk insist that the tractor unit is uncoupled from the trailer before loading,to prevent driving away whilst unloading,so may not necassarily be the truck drivers fault. A weight of 3 or 4 tonnes placed at the head of the trailer would be enough to tip it forward like this if uncoupled.
@pcfd20 Most modern Uk warehouses do have safe systems in place wether it be a dock locking system or simply taking the drivers ignition keys until loading/unloading has ceased, fortuantely this incident is a rare occurence so either somebody has ignored the loading rules or there may not have been any rules in place at this particular warehouse. It is likely the company will receive a visit from the health and safety inspectorate.
@MrJames27011 at Tesco Widnes the trailers are uncoupled and the shunters but a dummy valve on the air line connection so you cant couple and only they have the key to it so when they are told its ready they go and uncouple it or if you have a release for it and show it they will take it off for you
@bjorngroen Wrong. The landing gear is down. This could have occurred when the already dropped trailer was in the process of being loaded. TOO MUCH WEIGHT ON THE NOSE is the problem here!
@pezzza16, agreed! usually if the legs were not down the front would go down low but to get the rear wheels that high in the air its gotta be well heavy on the front

my guess, trailer was being loaded when this happened.. Truck was not hooked to trailer when the tip occurred ...
Warehouse Forklift drives in to load and tips trailer forward.
The trailer Landing gear is down. Driver did not pull away and lose his trailer.
