  • i will post a video on how to do that in the future.

  • I found a way to use a relay with no normally closed contacts.

  • hello....nice

  • i'll tell you not only with old scool radio t.v.'s

it interfears with cell phones and modern wireless systems!

i got my dad pretty pissed off :P

  • Its funny because everyone in New Zealand uses "old school" technology. All tv is sent via radio waves, there is no cable tv here.

  • you can do a self oscillating relay with N.O. contacts you put the switch part in parallel with the coil and either current limit the supply or put in a low resistance load (lightbulb ballast choke etc) between power and the relay try this with the huge relay

  • "Manly lab test power supply of science"... LOL! Well, it sure is a pride to any geek's workshop... XD

  • It's even better if you connect an ignition coil in series with the buzzing relay. ;-)

  • Awesome, going to build one (just for the spark-gap property), but just one question? Why didn't this screw up the audio? Or didn't you use the wireless mics on this one?

  • I built one of these back when I was a kid, was a wonderful moment of excitement when I heard it buzz.

  • Yay, i just found a bunch of relays in my parts bin!

(and i got the first view, but dont tell anyone)
