you can do a self oscillating relay with N.O. contacts you put the switch part in parallel with the coil and either current limit the supply or put in a low resistance load (lightbulb ballast choke etc) between power and the relay try this with the huge relay
Awesome, going to build one (just for the spark-gap property), but just one question? Why didn't this screw up the audio? Or didn't you use the wireless mics on this one?

Its funny because everyone in New Zealand uses "old school" technology. All tv is sent via radio waves, there is no cable tv here.

It's even better if you connect an ignition coil in series with the buzzing relay. ;-)
