Wow! Vince told me to take a look! What a trip!

At the end of the trip, our hands were slightly burned by the lime in the rubble we touched during the climb. High winds blew small chunks of rock against our faces and were told by a local it can blow so hard you can slide right off of the towers that have no walls to hold you!

Vince also said he would go back to the upper tower with a hard hat.........like that would help stave off 10 tons of rock! One of the others were smart enough to ask Vince where his passport was.....just in case he was air mailed to the bottom.....God forbid.

But I would submit that the adventurous trio would be willing to go again.........very soon.

We'll bring spikes and rope next time.

On his way back down to the tower where the video was shot, Vince encountered a spry, local, 70ish man climbing up to the higher tower with a sack of collected trash and recycling over his back. The fellow climbed as if it was his routine and without visible effort!

The trio of climbers did return to Beijing successfully and without incident. Vince was crazy enough to climb to the next highest tower while the others waited but decided not to enter the tower due to loose bricks in the arched entry way ceiling hanging with no visible mortar holding them in place. Leaving the wall and climbing around the tower was not an appropriate option due to the sheer cliff faces surrounding the tower.

since you posted this, i guess its fairly safe to say you all made it back in one piece rather than several.
