The cartoon released immediately after this one, "Nix on Hypnotricks" is the last one in which Popeye wears his traditional black shirt, white pants and cap with visor.
We weren't even in the war yet when this cartoon was released, but we were definitely getting ready in case something happened. Of course, just a little over two months after this cartoon came out, Pearl Harbor was bombed.

@supergamer73 we were still supplying the british with planes and "Volunteers" and weapons and munitions, not a big surprise at that time.
