We've known for a long time that student need to move. I'm glad someone took that research and put it to good use. :) heck, i would like those desks for myself and my college classroom. :)

I used to train students for the SAT and I have on several occasions advised students to take the SAT test standing up in the front of the test room (facing away from students). This helped many students with ADD or ADHD or other focusing issues get through the test and perform much closer to their actual capacity.

that is a great idea, i think that is a great idea for any school. only think that would be my concern is that i and many other kids in my school are taller then most, and some are shorter then most. another good feature you should add is a simple way to adjust the hieght. also they should have different hieght ranges like for elementry school average heights and high school average hieghts, and let the students adjust it from there. again i love the idea of it. (i am a student in high school)

I honestly love the standing desk idea. I got hooked to it two years ago when I went to this hotel in which they had their computers up on a high platform that would force you to stand up. I thought, "wow," because you do become more active and don't tend to be distracted, don't tend to be wasting valuable time. I love it. Glad it is catching on.
