its not fair to say that this live version sucks...

i've actually never seen them play this song without mary.

i think its a very powerful performance of the song, its moving to hear the vocals with marys backup missing.. and laetitia's added improvisations towards the end are equally powerful.

i think had i been at the detroit bar to see this, i would have been reduced to tears.

so bravo, stereolab for continuing to play these older favorites!
