well, who care about tweaking is fair it part of the game. ok I ready ask the other clan about tweaking is fair in any mod so my advice is correct -> don't use it, don't be a noob KgMadMack.
I play this WolfET game 2003-2012, I know what is wrong & not wrong use the tweaking on any mod or server. So dont tell me about I cant use it.
@TheTriggerInside After playing ET for so long - you get to know many details. I do know a lot of commands that would make the game easier for sniper, but that does not mean I use them...
@iviperific The point of the video is not about knowing them or not - the question is: do you use them or not? Because sheer knowledge is good - it's what we do with that knowledge that could be wrong.

So here you were mistaken, I'm perfectly aware that tweaking is not hacking, yet it still doesn't mean it is fair. It all depends on server tweak policies - and a lot of servers will kick/ban you for the use of tweaks (sniper servers). You said only noobs use it - so my advice is correct -> don't use it, don't be a noob.

If you would read the text at the beginning you would notice that I'm against tweaks, and I play without them - if you watch my movie: ET Sniper II - I didn't have any tweaks while recording that video - so - You can judge how good I am without them. The purpose of this video was to show the effects of tweaks - and to show that they are bad. You clearly misunderstood it.
let me say this. In the OLD days when all you had was shrub and etpro mod every single competition player/vet got rid of bob. Not for sniping but because the shit was lame. Hell that crap gave me a headache (im old). I personally havent played with bob since 03. No one that has a clue does. It was an oversight that the option to get rid of it wasn't in the original menu. This was changed when they released ETQW. SD did this cause they originally fked up.
@SuicidalM Some mods have the option in the menu depending on version. From etpub, jaymod, and the old whaleclient. Even the original "sample" cfg built into ET from wils (who in my opinion smoked crack) had it removed. Your arguement that using a cfg that even the developers of the game used and built into ET itself is somehow "tweaking" is bullshit. When ETQW was released the devs of ET itself said that arguement was bunk and a joke. They made sure it was part of etqw's menu to end the BS.
@SuicidalM Some of the "diehard" fanatics of the no "tweak rule" based on the bob question posted on the ETQW forums and got their ass shot down by the developers of ET itself. It's an old discussion and to be honest only an idiots and newbs play with blood splatter, explosions, and bob. Don't call it "pure ET" as thats a joke. If its allowed by pb, not a cheat or a hack, its fair game and most of what you bitch about is part of the cfg left by the devs and built into ET itself.
@SuicidalM one last note on the subject. Long before any "sniper clan" existed, the original AE sniper server was ran on ETPRO and every single freaking AE player had no bob in his cfg. That server was set up for "warm ups" for TWL competition play on etpro. It was not created for "purist snobs" on etpub (etpub didnt even exist) AE was not a sniper clan, far from it. I know, I knew them and played with them on a reg basis.
@SuicidalM oh and sorry but I have to say this. Any idiot that claims etpub is "pro" is a fking moron. ETpub is basically the original shrub mod with "tweaks" like hitsounds. Its anti lag sucked, it's hitboxes were shit and general game play was crap. Today's modern etpub has incorporated alot of etpro's coding to make it better, but still is far inferior to etpro in every way. Jaymod is closer to etpro as it "borrowed" most of the better coding from that mod originally. Etpub=shrub and a joke.
@SuicidalM I know what You mean Suicidal. Removed bob for frag is fine with me, since people there play like this - and accept it. Thou on sniper server times have changed - bob is something You have to have turned on on Sniper Servers, and this video is taliing specifically about sniper servers - because as You know - I'm not a frag sniper.
Personally I think it's not fair. Let me give You a situation -> You try hard to learn something without tweaks - for example binocing. And other guy just turn on tweaks and can binoc right away. So question is - who is more skilled? You when You honestly learned it - or the other guy who just turned the CFG on? Well I was a tweaker before - and I thught I'm good. Then I went to a server where tweaks weren't allowed - and I sucked. Then I learned, that tweaks don't make You good.
Ahh yes. ive seen these things. I've had a command where you dont bob left and right when running. making it easier to shoot/aim. It's basically just a console command. I wouldnt call it a tweak. but it gives you an advantage.
i have question i can you say me how can i go fast in scope and shot it dont work for me how you shot ;P and other question is how many headshots i need for each calss i see you fight agains other sniper so you make one shot kill how it looks on other classes cuz i find its hard to snipe a medic tath shoot at ya from far
I use binoculars to aim and when I want to shoot I quickly change to scope and shoot. And headshots - I play mostly on sniper servers where 1 shot - 1 kill rule is on. On normal servers - I believe 1-2 heashots can finish off most enemies.
Ya, by your comments I see you are just random NOOB, who thinks the "PRO way". Tweaking makes you harder to hit - and it's easier for you - you win, cuz you have tweaks , not skill. Ohhh - and it's easier..., and you talk to play on PRO not Jay ( where it's easier ) - so you contradict yourself. Plus - mods are subjective. People say they are pro on ETPro, Pub etc. - then why when they come to Jay and get their ass kicked? They should be even better, cuz its easier...
If you want to snipe at close distance tweaks are a must have. Especially if you just like me snipe of a normal frag server against meds. I agree they are sorta lame on snipeservers.
