i'v never herd of something more stupid..!! first wat was the point of spending billions of dollars on all the motor ways like city link and west gate....etc... and melbourne is a very urban spread out metropolitian..! its not amsterdam its melbourne..! 24 hour pulblic transport..? hmmm what a waste of money.... melbourne won't even have 5million people by this time.. even the biggest cities don't have 24 hour transport! i thought we're ment to be going forward! this is a backward step!

@paddlepopkid those freeways are made by private contractors, thats the reason why those annoying e-Tags were introduced, Melbourne never seems to sleep anyway, limited 24 hour transport would be Ideal.

Your right in some ways though, Melbourians seem to be either Surrealists or Pessamists, "where are ya gonna put your bikes" be imaginative woman!! nothing's impossible
