I grew up in TEC in the Diocese of VA. Shannon is now my Bishop, and though I am about as protestant and reformed as they come, he has been great to me personally and my conservative Church. If we replaced JKS with him, we would be in much better shape.

Thank you Bishop Johnston for your grace and humility. I agree that admitting and confessing our sin to one another is very important, and that coming together in a spirit of humbleness to God and his will, as we read in his Scriptures, and to one another is essential! My convictions are very much on the conservative side--but that does not mean that all of my convictions are in line with God's will. Let all Anglicans hear this message and be blessed!
