He's waaaaaaaaay better than Phil Collins. In my opinion, Phil started getting progressively worse after Genesis sold out in the 80's!

I studied with Chester in Nashville and he is a freaking beast. He can do everything left and right handed and expects his students to do the same.

He would give us homework and you'd better know how to play it on a right handed set and also on a left when you returned the next week, and some weeks the rehearsal would only be on an "opposite" kit of what you were accustomed too.

He is a legend for sure.
