  • lmao at the end!!!

  • wwwyoutubecom/watch?v=ajzRC9gCVQ0&feature=related

  • look at this video it disproves your ignorance

  • Caps don't draw amps when there not being used. We use them all the time in the hvac industry.

  • the disc stop

  • Capacitors do not use energy except when that are first turned on they have to charge. But then they push and pull at 60 times per secont back and forth a watt or amp meter only reads a draw but it does not know what direction it is going! so that 4 to 5 amp is just a floating amperage if you dont believe it install a unit and then turn everything in the house off except the power saver and go watch your electric meter it will be sitting still!!!

  • AND, that thing cant just draw power cuz it has somwhere to go

  • without closed cirquit u cant spend power cuz obviosly theres no cirquit. so dere must be something else wasting ur power.

  • Ok. I want to see the wattage demonstration with multiple motors being turned on and off with the Kvar circuit and without. Couldn't some sort of relay be installed to control the box from the appliances or some sort of hub where the appliances go to to trigger the box to turn off and on? How does this box perform with heating elements. Forget motors. Lets go with something that is about 1800 watts and draws over 25 amps.

  • scam

  • Unless u are never in the house with everything off, then u shouldn;t even bother to install the kvar. for the people who actually use electricity the kvar is a Great power saver and surge protector.

  • I understand the caps can save money, if installed in the appliance, right on the motor itself.

So, if the appliance motor is off, the disconnected caps aren't going to load the mains 24-7..

Even if they don't work at all, at least you won't be wasting money when everything in your house is turned off.. ;)

  • LMAO!!!!!!! You are right about the power being used if a motor is not on, nobody likes to advertise the bad things about their product!!!!!! However the energy saving are usually far greater than than the energy being used by the kvar when nothing is running. Besides, I usually have at least one motor (sometimes 3-4 or more) on at any given time in my household. I believe you can also wire the kvar so that it turns off when nothing is being used.

  • @Brynie11 So do you recommend installing the unit? Is there a way to wire it so it turns on only when needed?
