1 and 2 are the best movies, i agree and 3 and 4 sucked. the kid in the third movie wasn't as good as macauley, that kid was genius! the only thing i liked about the third movie was how he could see the remote control car on his television screen, that is some smart thinking, the worst was the 4th movie, honestly.. the acting was so poor, and the storyline was so typical.

One of the things I loved about Macaulay Culkin when I was a kid was just that it was cool to see another kid in the movies, which you didn't see very often then. Especially in the Home Alone movies because he gets into all the mischief I wished I could have gotten away with! Kevin McCallister was like a hero to us kids back in the '90s.

Macaulay was the only kid that could act that good.Somewhere I read that Chris Columbus used to seek his main role among the 200 different kids in that time..Culkin had a huge support of John Kandy who had played the Culkin's uncle at the movie that has been shot 2 years before this one.If you watched this movie you should have noticed the kid named Mitch Murphy,who appears somewhere at beginning..He should get the main role and almost got it.He was director's 1st choice
