is this faster than just killing ordinary mobs? elite gives more xp but this seems to take pretty long.

It's like killing one mob is = to the amount of exp you'd get from a basic quest.

At level 35, as an SM, you can solo the KHQ and get roughly 200-300k EXP per kill.

nice. but these elite mob in the vid is in veteron right? i just kinda wonder where in veteron...seems like he's killing something from the krall camp?

at lv 40-50 you HAVE to kill elites they give 200-400k xp and ordinay mobs will give 30-40k even if the elite needs some kiting it's still worth it.

@mistyken it tends to be a bit better xp over time wise but also because your killing elites youve got the chance of nicer drops aswell. also when u take into acount that you end up being able to do this with 3 + elites at a time its worth learning how to kite properly at the lower levels where your not so harshly punished for death.

I used to do this on spiritmaster to in betas, but then repeat on sorcerer on same elite mob in open beta and seems they gimped exp hard T-T

Well seems I was just a different level, I killed Elites solo from Tursin mine or Kaidan mine the higher level part, and with energy of repose on I got 130,000 exp each o.O

water pet's pretty bad for doing this, it stops to do ranged and falls behind the mob etc. much prefer wind pet, his command destructive claw does a DoT, and he's fast and melee's the mob the whole time. ^_^
