Well, you're such a scholar of the Constitution that you can point to me where the Founders meant "health care" under the general welfare clause. Please refer to the specific article and section... I've got my Constitution handy and ready to reference.

If you had read Jefferson you would have noticed that he said General Welfare does not give Congress the right to spend money on anything they want outside the confines of Section 1 Article 8.

General Welfare refers to that which is provided by the 18 enumerated powers. Don't sound stupid by telling people it refers to health care. By that regard it would also include organic foods and the right to owning your own car.

I agree but not just for Wilkow. I also think more people should listen to Mike Church, as for he really knows his history and I think all Americans need to be relearn or at least remember how we came to be.

I'm not big on Mike Church's "radio stylings," but you're right....he is an absolute human encyclopedia when it comes to the constitution and the founding of this country.
