I think everyone trying to rag on a guy for having fun with his hair needs to come off their high horses, stop acting like being a drony normal cleancut asshole makes you better than him, and shut the fuck up.

Now as for the actual interview itself, he should have prepared a lot more cuz that was terrible. Also there's too much headroom, the angle was bad, and he should have positioned himself and Mike a lot better. TV Broadcasting major :)

You make the mistake of thinking we had time to prepare. All our videos were very off the cuff. It was whatever we ran into and could put together. I also disagree with you on the headroom. Below them is a bunch of junk. I'd rather have some space above the head, than shots of crap all over the booth floor. Once you have more experience you'll see that a lot of times, you have to improvise.

Improv is not an excuse for a bad shot. You're adding to my point that you did it from a bad angle. Shooting straight on instead of downwards would have helped greatly.

The shot really isn't that bad. We probably produced about 3 dozen videos in 5 days and you're the first person that really raised a stink (this was produced for a different website). Anyhoo, I respect your opinion as a broadcasting major, but as someone who is a working professional, I know that when you shoot this prolifically and quickly, it is more important to get it done and sometimes it doesn't come out perfect. You output and move on because there are 8 more videos to shoot tomorrow.

@needstoregister 2 years later, looking at this again with a lot more experience, the position is fine but the camera operator should have crouched a little and shot more straight on instead of downward and awkward. But even if this is what they wanted, I still say thats a huge gap and it could have been lowered at least another inch or two, tighten the frame just a squeeze and the backround won't look so distracting. But whats done is done. Always next time.

I've worked with Mattzog for lots of videos (used to work at the same company as him, DivX/Stage6) and he is never really trying to be anything. He's just a really crazy anarchist. It's too bad people don't like him in these videos. In real life, he's one of those people that everybody loves cuz he's so kookie.

Clearly he is trying to be like something. It takes effort to style your hair like that everyday. It takes money and effort to go to the store and buy green hair dye.

I'm not saying that he's a bad guy, but he is trying too hard. Plus he is terrible in giving this interview.

I really don't like people like Senor Mohawk. I mean, it's not like he's a bad person, but it's like he's striving to be funny and all it does is annoy.

Oh, and off the top of my head, I would've asked why he's doing both Rifftrax AND The Film Crew. That would've filled up thirty seconds or so.
