Did you figure out which fan was giving you the problem? Did you fix it yourself? My Samsung DLP Rear Projection TV is making the same loud buzzing when first turned on as well.

mine is more of a low hum... could dust get in there and cause this?

I'm having the same trouble with my brand new samsung led tv. It starts crackling like crazy after about five minutes :(

If it buzzes, then why don't you just RETURN IT? : P
Don't tell me you spent like 2-3 grand a TV that you couldn't even return.
