It's a shame that so many people get so angry about something that at the very worst isn't going to do any harm. Why do people choose times like this to spread their simmering resentment? But yeah, to say a prayer and watch and wait for someone else to help when you can do it, that I would call empty. Pray and work.

Regardless, when it comes down to it, the most vocal comment against secular/skeptical responses is, "What's the harm?" (and this applies to unproven alt-med with no evidence too). The harm is that belief in one set of unsubstantiated claims makes a person much more likely to believe in more extreme ones. Slippery slope.
