Today is the first time I'm listening to Jay Jay Pistollet but I'm absolutely a 100% sure I've heard this song before. Does anyone hafe a logical explanation? Is it a cover? did they play it with the vaccines? Did some other band cover it? Or does it just sound a lot like some other song??
After hearing this I fell a bit annoyed by this bloke, he tried being a folk guy and failed so now has completely changed his style of singing and music to something more popular. He should just be who he is!
@Skapete can you not like more than style of music? Paul Weller, the jam, style council, maybe you need to open your mind, great music is great music, if you are lucky enough to be able to write it then go for it.
@Skapete he still sings about the same things but the only reason he changed as he stated in an interview that he didn't want to be pouring his heart out if no one would listen and who can blame him for that. i've met the guy both after gigs as JJP and the vaccines and he's a genuinely nice guy
I absolutely love Jay jay pistolet. Such ditties you may make up if you had the talent :-) I love songs with lyrics you can identify with. It makes the audience feel a part of it. The poetry style of the words is lovely too if you see what I mean. I'm sure there is most probably a clever way of saying that but i don't know it lol
Jay Jay Pistolet! I heard this song on "Marc Riley's Brain Surgery" a couple of years ago, I think. Finally a wide release for Jay Jay! Bravo Mr. Pistolet, you dun good.
is tht king charles i see playing the harmonica, wdn't suprise me. thts the great thing about this "nu-folk scene" is tht all of them know each other nfd they r all connected, I need 2 join it!
