Thorton is absolutely the MOST respectable fighter in the NHL. Recently, he was fighting (I think Orr?) and pulled his shirt over Orr's head, REFUSED to hit him and called the linesman in. On top of that, Thorny may only have (I believe) 6 goals on the season, but they are goalscorers goals, I have no idea where it comes from! He's no Marc Savard, but Shawn Thornton can play some hockey and he deserves a lot of respect. I have more respect for Cote now too.

These are he best kinds of fights...these guys both agreed to fight, agreed to drop them at the same time. They both fought clean and hard, and you can see Cote pat Thornton on the back at the end. That's a true hockey fight, no cheap shots, just two guys who respect each other slugging it out. Great stuff.
