man do i remember this game i had the gamecube version though it was the first gamecube game i ever played and it was kickass its my second favorite game ever right below croc legend of the gobbos for the pc that was the first game i had ever played in my life i and i dont think anything could beat it but man XIII was so fun i would play for hours on end trying to beat this game. now i bought the ps2 version a few days ago and its so much better! its to bad that no one plays it online anymore:(

Goddamn I remember the first room, with the M60 (best gun in the game) which was hard as fuck to get to. My friends and I always raced for that gun first thing, and whoever got it pretty much won.

I think no one ever plays this game because its straight up terrible. 3:12 is a prefect example on how retardedly hard it is to kill someone when even when invisible if you aren't holding every gun the map has to offer. This games aiming mechanic was beyond terrible, i played this game in its hay day and it made me cry tears of blood because I tried to force myself to like it.

Nope. The only pay to play games I know of are Everquest, and Final Fantasy XI. I think maybe the Phantasy Star games as well, but I'm not sure about that one.

Call of Duty, Socom, and all other PS2 online games are completely free. Just make sure it's servers haven't been taken down before you buy it for online play.

There are a number that have which sucks, but all the CoD and Socom games are still up and running.

Socom 1 will have hit the seven year mark his August, and it's still online.

PS2 online is completely free in almost every game. The only ones that charge you are the Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Games like Everquest, and Final Fantasy XI. Other than those types of games, all PS2 online games are free.

If you got a bill, then it wasn't from the PS2 online service.

If your PS3 is backwards compatible, I do believe that PS2 online games do work on it.

I've played two online PS2 games on my friend's 60 gig PS3, so I know you can play online PS2 games on a BC PS3, but I can't vouch for this game personally.

However, I saw it at my local Best Buy for a mere $10 brand new, so at that price, it doesn't hurt that much to try it out.

You just buy a network adapter,it sell at gamestop.And REMEMBER when your connecting anything on your ps2 to play oonline make sure you plug out your ps2 power card and then plug in the cable wire then plug in your ps2 power cord then turn on your ps2.

You need a network adapter, a broadband connection, and the PS2 online startup disk. The startup disk is what hold up most PS2 owners, because you need it to setup your connection, but many games have the startup disk built in.

XIII isn't one of them though, but there are quite a few that do have it.

It depends on the time that you logon. Sometimes there's nobody, but on occasion, you can find people to play with, though not a lot of people.

There are still plenty of people playing the PS2 online, but it's only specific games. I think the main reason why this game didn't do so well online is because there's no way of communicating with your friends or opponents.

It doesn't support a USB headset, or a USB keyboard.

It is pretty fun. The last time I played online though, there weren't any powerups. I guess it just depends on what mode you play.

It's a rarity that someone is on, but the best time to try is around peak hours. 3pm-9pm.

When I captured the footage today, it was just blind luck that anyone was on, but you can occasionally find people playing.

I think the main reason that no one plays is that it doesn't support the Mic, or even a USB keyboard, so theres no way to communicate with the other players.
