Ok so you sound like the typical English dude doing a Southern American accent because you don't know any better. I've come to terms that even though you come off very offensive it's ok, you don't know any better. Maybe one day when you decide to broaden your horizons and come to America you won't be as ignorant as you sound/look.
I'm from the US and I found it hilarious...it's definitely a redneck accent though...for the rest of the Americans who took offense to this, chill...it's a freaking joke...learn how to laugh at ourselves. Great job!!
@MicaylaPaige Does that really matter? We English find it much easier to emulate the phonemes of the "southern" US accents than the much more subtle "northern" ones. I never understand how anyone can take offence at someone attempting a particular accent. I wouldn't take offence at someone doing an RP or Queen's English accent and calling it an "English accent" (although calling it a "British accent is a bit dubious).
For those who can't tell he's being sarcastic we know Americans aren't that dumb, the doctor bit had me laughing, and I'm 95% sure that only posh people, gays, and some people over say 60 year old I've heard say loo. Unless its a southern thing.

@Owen4004 Pronouncing words with an AR sound is not a southern accent. It is the Queen's English and how the BBC used to speak before they brought in regional accents. Unfortunately for some, speaking with a harsh A makes them seem lower than the average intelligentsia, and frankly rather common.

As for the doctors, Americans say the technical words to describe their profession like neurologist, heart doctor or brain doctor is just an simple definition for them that we sometimes use to describe them to younger kids or people that don't know what they are.
@camxpbab It's closer to a hillbilly accent in some spots than a redneck accent, but yeah. Primarily deep south, in the places where you start hearing Dueling Banjos as you wander deeper into the woods. ;)
Awesome video! appreciate the time you spent doing it! sound sooo funny! I think nobody should take it seriously...brit can make fun of american accent as well: I think american accent is cool! British accent is sophisticated.... whateverrrrr!

@hackett1607 since when does 'British' (which in itself is wrong unless you're accounting for all of it's 4 countries) mean Posh or Cockney? You American's stereotype even more than we do you, it's just how people relate. and I'm English, from the North so I say Grass like NASa (can't think of a word that couldn't be poshified) not Grass like Ahhhse. :p It just depends where you pick it up :)
Man, y'all need to get y'all panties out of a bunch. This shit is hilarious. Of course we all know that not every American, or Brit sounds like this, or talk like this, that's why it's funny. That's where comedy come in. Like, seriously, everybody in the world knows that Americans don't call dentists tooth doctors. Lighten up, because if you don't then you're gonna miss out on a lot of comedy gold.
This was funny in most parts but um...I live in Texas and only my great-grandfather sounds a little like that and we know the word for ya know 'dentist' -.-
@daanytay never heard about the scotch tape before lol but on the vid is used that as the american of the british "selotape" which is what we call sticky tape.
Funny! But we do use words like "dentist," "cardiologist," and "neurologist" in America! But you didn't talk about "aluminum" (I guess that's "aluminium" to you?)
As an American who happens to be from the south I feel like maybe I should be offended, but I'm not. The same people in my town who actually sound like that threatened to Lynch me so riddicule all you wish good man!
I am actually from new jersey and I don't have a southern accent or any accent at all actually (no, I don't live at da joisey shore). So, not all Americans talk like tht.
@Chillypopchilly Why a lot of people from NJ or NY move to Florida rather than California? there's a lot of people from both states living down here in the poor, dirty south, and I just don't quite get it why you guys move from states where wages are at least higher than down here.I enjoy the U.S. Pacific west coast.it's absolutely gorgeous there.and the pacific ocean looks a lot wider and bigger than the Atlantic ocean.moving back there.
@Eivyll South Florida like the northeast and the west coast? there's a big difference between these regions, and I don't quite get what you mean by saying South Florida is like the northeast and the west coast.South Florida is mostly flat and hot with lots of swamps filled with alligators, mosquitoes and all kinds of bugs.the northeast is very hilly while the west coast is very mountainous.there's no big industry down here in Florida, and most jobs are found in hospitality.Florida sucks, fella.
Not similar in terms of geography. Similar in terms of culture and dialect. You can go to some parts of northwest florida and it's just like being in Alabama or Georgia, and as you travel southward into the peninsula, the deep south accents start to disappear. (I'm not including the Keys in the "south florida" catagory) I'm from NY and many people here like to vacation in florida, mainly because its tropical while still part of the US and its cheaper than flying to hawaii
Well, this certainly wasn't very accurate... I'm from Texas, a southern state in the US, and I've only heard people speak that way when they were joking around. Oh well... there isn't a point in posting a huge rant when this is probably just meant as a silly joke.
