Black labs are probably one of the best dogs you CAN get. They are very mellow, sweet dogs. (course when they're puppies they're not so mellow, but that's all puppies.) They get along with everything, and if you have kids or have friends with kids, it's one of the best dogs to have around children. Great dog.

Oh believe me, Gordon has his moments too! We call them "scampers"--when he is just into everything! Most of the time though he is just like what you see in the video. He is so calm and happy most of the time.
I took him to a class but he is naturally just a good boy. They love to walk and it actually helps to drain some of their energy! Good luck in finding your pup. Maybe you could adopt an older lab from a shelter...that way they might already have some training.
