I liked the story of SMG1. Bowser was a dark intimidating villain who would stop at nothing in succeeding with his plans and was no fool like most modern games, the side plot involving the story book was kind of dark and depressing, and the ending to the game was very dramatic. It is a shame that most of the story elements were gone in the sequel. I wanted another dark dramatic plot. The gameplay still kicked ass though so I like SMG2 just as much as this one.
I had a feeling you would reply to my comment that way lol. I liked Sunshine alot too, but that one doesn't have much story IMO either. What I liked about Sunshine was the level design, Noki Bay looked awesome. But I like Galaxy better though because I think the gameplay is more fun.
