As simple as it sounds now, it never occurred to me to ring out all the soap that's worked into the brush. Learn something new every day, great vid and I'll be tweaking my own technique with what I saw here with the infamous (as far as lathering goes) MWF.

for the price though you can't beat that shave soap. $1.00 for a puck...can't beat it. it has good lather and good slip. Williams however I bought from my local grocery store (wegmans) Williams is terrible smells just like Ivory soap and is super drying
Nice vid! I like the fact that you make a point of saying that you got the stuff at Target, as though to emphasize that it doesn't cost a fortune to wet-shave.

@JIMINIK1 That's a great idea, listening to swing music while shaving! I usually shave at night, for the next day; since I stay up later than my wife, I can't play any music out loud and it would be near impossible to shave wearing earphones. LOL.
@Knubinator I haven't had a bad experience with MWF soap, but I haven't had a great experience with it either. The water is very hard, here in FL and I have trouble lathering that soap. I do love MWF scent!

Although I squeeze out the brush lather for my final pass, I like the idea of squeezing it out and remixing initially. Will have to try that.

Oh, that soap sucks so hard. That was my first shave soap, and I was SO happy when I made the leap to Mitchell's Wool Fat.
