@landar386 I think they give the best overview tbh. healers and casters are both ranged and do not get bogged behind pillars or other large bits of scenery screwing up your view. - besides... tank view = bosses knees most of the time :)

One thing worth mentioning is that the spike will block LoS to the head when mounting him. If your "arrow" is grey'ed out and you can't mount him, it's most likely because the spike is between you and his head.

The new way to do this is have all ranged stack with melee and then have 1 hunter stay out when pillar comes hunter puts trap down and all ranged switch.

When Magmaw comes off the spike he will reset agro. Just letting you know, our raid group figured that out the hard. Actually it was just me and a friend, forgot to stop dpsing a few seconds before he reset phase one. Let the tank get agro while you go back to your spot where you tank/dps/heal.

Actually, positioning seems to work better if melee and ranged and heals all stack where the melee are in this video...and keep one hunter where the ranged are...that way the pillar is always on the hunter and you can just have ranged switch over to parasites while hunter kites...then no one has to really worry about getting hit, and moving, and makes the fight less stressful
