It is not hard or expensive to add an intake fan to the cooler and replace the thermal compound on the cooler. I've owed the Radeon 9600 and the cooler was not adequate to cool the GPU without customization.

Hello Ben, I have a PM G4 MDD as well, and replaced the nVidia 64MB card with one of these ATI, and it works great! Don't regret the purchase at all.
