What this guy says about buying a controller stick - I wouldn't just for this game. My flight stick (Saitek AV8R-03) actually had "Compatible with HAWX and Blazing Angels" as a selling point, (and with HAWX1 it is good) but with HAWX2 the deadzone is so big you're better off using the arrow keys on the keyboard. My friend also has a much better flight controller (I think it's a thrustmaster or something) he has the same problem with horrible Deadzones. HAWX2 has very sticky controls.

I like Ace Combat, but HAWX 2 is much better. I'll make a Prediction for the story for assault horizon "Oh no Russia was HIT BY A DAMN METEOR AND DECIDED THAT THEY SHOULD KILL AMERICANS ONCE THEY ARE DONE KILLING EACH OTHER." That is the Story of AC6 except swapped out Estovakia and Emeria with Russia and America. Gameplay in Ace Combat is just using super missiles to take out twenty targets at a time. Face it, Ace Combat's time is over.

i never liked this game, to turn, you have to completely roll your plane in the direction you want to go, and then push up on the sticks?.... i dont care how good this game looks, as long as a plane cant even TURN right, then i dont wanna play it. it acts as if gravity doesnt exist and you can pull off any stunt nomatter how impossible. (btw, the bomber he was flying near the end was a STEALTH bomber, not capable of doing flips, goes to show the diversity of the plane's physics engines)

He seems to switch off constantly from console to console. He has done plenty of games where he uses the ps3 as the example. I've always thought of Mark as very even when it comes to consoles. If anything he always talks about how he was playing the ps1 instead of Nintendo in the old days. If it's your first aviation game this will give you the wrong impression. This is very arcade-y. It'll be worth checking out Ace Combat 7: Assault Horizon when it comes out. Check out the trailer. It's nowhere near as retarded as HAWX 2's.

It's challening because it's made for co-op. The AI buddies are useless while enemy is very good. And you have max 5 flares when the enemy has unlimited. Not only that but usually you have to fight 10 enemies at once... with a time limit. You always have many rockets tailing you which means you need to evade them and at the same time try to manually shoot down the enemy.
