i got an xbox for christmas and i am looking to currently get a ps3. The only reason i did get xbox is i know more people on there the only thing the xbox has better than ps3 is the online system and maybe if you want halo and gears. If you want more casual gaming mixed with a bit of first peson shooter and little sock puppet worlds (littlebigplanet) than ps3 is your console. I like both but i think ps3 is a little bit better. If you people want to keep raving bout xbox do it on a xbox video

Well, the difference is about $45-$55, + you will be able to have movies + music on the system as well as LOTS of games which takes huge space especially if downloaded from PS Store.

By the way, I have over 3TB on my PC... About 800GB left.

@shadow36057 on most computers, they count in binary form so it means it doesn't count in powers of 10 and it'll sometimes say you only have 111GB free on a empty 120GB HDD. Also, computers will reserve space for its OS ( Operating System) to well... operate properly. So don't freak out, i have a 250GB and it said like 232GB when i first got it. Your 120GB is still there but your PS3 counts in binary form (1GB=1,073,741,824 bytes) while your HDD capacity is counted in base 10 mathematics........

the 60gb ps3 is the best. it has the e-motion engine that allows all ps1 ps2 and ps3 games to play perfectly it has 4 usb ports and buit in memory ports. Plus it looks way better than the Slim, and the only reason is heavy is because its made of Metal and not cheap plastic.

I bought the 120GB-8MB cache model and upgraded it with a 500GB-16MB cache. It runs very quiet and doesn't become a fingerprint display thanks to Sony removing the gloss in this version.

I was a little disappointed that they removed the Install Other OS option, as I had planned to play around with that to run an SNES emulator on Ubuntu.

It still takes lower power and runs cooler than the original. The PS3 can also stream my Netflix movies and Windows Media shares through my wireless network.

You can play PS1 games on EVERY model of the PS3. The only thing you can't do currently is play PS2 games. However, it doesn't matter too much to me, as I still have my PS2 Slim.
