In the Japanese version, there was an extra large Pokemon center in Goldenrod where the event occurred.

The center was changed to a regular one in the USA version, and the rest of the building was changed to a few buildings without doors.

@mntkaikseropsomi You don't it is Crystal exclusive. Hacking it in gives you a Teru-Sama, but I dunno if it will do the same thing as the GS Ball, it may just do nothing

To get the GS ball you need to use Gameshark or a similar cheating device. The only way to get Celebi in the US version without Gameshark is through the use of bad clones in Pokemon Stadium 2 on the N64 and that's extremely complicated...

OR a long time ago there was an event that Nintendo gave out the gs ball so you could catch celebi.. I think it was only in japan.

actually in the japanese verion of crystal you gan get the GS ball in the game, but when they made it for USA Nintendo/GameFreak decided -

"HAY! Lets just make it so you can only get the GS ball by winning in an official nintendo event!"

but typycal Nintendo/GameFreak got lazy once again and (from what i hear) never released/held the event in the USA !!

last i actually heard they had this event was in Austrailia.
