I love this version so much better than the new one. The only similarity with the versions is the chorus, the verses are all different. Even the meaning behind them is different. They may as well have just changed the chorus to the new one and made a new song.

Actually the band left him after Canadian Idol and the reason he left was 'cause he wanted to write his own stuff instead of playing songs written by the record label.
