@SoDopeNRG It doesn't do a lot to be fair. It does show that hackers are slowly starting to break into the Vita's thick outer shell of security, which is great. I imagine it won't be more than a couple of months until we are all playing our favourite SNES games or Pokemon again ;)

It's just a basic "hello world" app. But I guess a dumbass like you doesn't know what "hello world" means in the context of programming, hacking, etc. Well I'll explain it to you - a hello world app is the very first app someone will ever run either on a hacked unit or even when they are learning programming period. All programming languages make you develop a "hello world app" as your first app for the language.

@OhBLZD If you're talking about me, you should read a bit on psp hacking before you post. *None* of my work on the PSP was ever used to enable piracy. My two major contributions on the PSP are Wagic which is an open source game, and HBL, which only allows user mode homebrews. If you want to seriously discuss about piracy, you should know that it is impossible to run PSP isos without kernel mode. So get your facts straight before you judge.

@frwololo i have got my facts right, about 4 years ago i was heavily in the psp cfw scene, with m33, oea, and dark alex all that, if you remember it all, then it kinda died because piracy and downloading games killed the psp, companies werent making a profit therefore didnt dev games for it..

Sucked? Then 3DS came out old psp still outsold it at first. The problem here is that Nintendo sell crap consoles for more then they really cost, and Sony usually makes better and more expensive to produce console's and sell's it at production cost, so nintendo get's money for every console sold and sony only for games sold. Yeah and ds wasn't better than psp in terms of good-games-not-made-by-nintend­o and it lacked functionality like psp had (got both of them).

@zerocool875 Hey man, I pirate shit like crazy too, I did a shit ton of pirating on my psp. but you gotta understand, that if we keep pirating games its going to affect everyone. why do you think there are no good games on the old psp? developers are afraid of making games for the psp only for them to be pirated. We need to start buying our games and supporting the publishers, plus the ones on the store are much cheaper than gamestop. I know I wont be pirating a vita game when i get my vita.

I love it when the devs put Hello World on a new device. It just assures me that they are working on a hack and the device will definitely have loads of potential for homebrew etc. Imagine running ps2 games on this. With the 2 analogue sticks that would definitely be possible and would control very well. Except for the missing should buttons. :) Also N64 may fair better on this PSP aswell. After all these years the PSP never managed to run N64 games properly.

@Darkseeker109 It is technically impossible to use HBL for piracy. HBL is user mode only, while running PSP isos requires Kernel mode.
