Oh, and I don't even need to expose the folly of bashing religion itself (and not the corrupt institutions) but I will anyway. So many guides to living as outlined in various Buddhist and Christian tests have later been shown to be true by fields like positive psychology and others. Anyone who insinuates religion has nothing to offer hasn't actually examined the texts themselves but shrug it off because it doesn't fit in the faith in human reason theology or are misled by out of context phrases.
Yeah, let's have no social protections at all against irrational and destructive human behavior. We can just ask them to voluntarily stop killing people and come live in a lab to be studied! And let's come to the conclusion with absolutely no supporting evidence that we can maintain and even EXPAND our worldwide consumption patterns simply by sharing everything and not holding things as private property. There are some things PJ hits spot on like the evils of capitalism, but not the above.
Remember 9-11, the scheme is problem-reaction-solution.. problem- corrupt capitalism ... reaction- TZM, solution- handing over all power, property, soevereignty to an elite board of scientists... PJ always tries to make it seem as if capitalism is evil... or money is evil... however, one is a system the other an inanimate object, neither have a will of their own, its people who have a will and commit evil acts, and rig the system, so lets hand all power over to a small group of people... smart
@shimineenawhow Herp Derp I'm a zeitgeister and you are just too emotionally involved in capitalism and are afraid to relearn a completely different system - of which there are no specifics given, but you know its going to be good because we watch really emotional videos of kids starving and complain about how no one else is thinking outside the box... PJ is a saint and messiah and can single handedly cure the world of all ills... you just don't understand how multifaceted this kind of thing is
@IAM18YEARSOLDANDOVER Go back to hollygollyimaginationland, where a group of people will plan everything, absolutely everything, and will have all this power and will not serve themselves, or manipulate the system in any way. There will magically be no politics involved, PJ is such a multifaceted thinker he's taken care of everything... you have to be retarded to believe this zeitgeist shit
@shimineenawhow Capitalism leads to oligarchism. I am not wasting anymore time with you. You are clearly deluded with Alex Jones paranoia. You also watch too many horror movies which has rattled your brain. I suppose you love sucking on George Bush and Obama's dicks while they oil up your capitalist fantasy society. You really think you make a difference when you put pencil to paper every 4 years for election? Haha stupid.
@shimineenawhow We won't be handing over all power to a small group of people in an RBE, that's what you're already doing today though. You really think you're living in a democracy? Ha, go and try getting the best health care possible, you won't be able to because you don't have the money.
@IAM18YEARSOLDANDOVER Um, yes we would have to hand over our resources, to the group of "scientists" so they can manage our resources, how else are they going to allocate resources through the scientific method?... I don't need "the best health care possible" and I'm not sure mine differs. I don't live in a democracy, I currently live in USA which is a republic. and your argument that we don't live in a democracy would only play into my "Alex Jones" points... the debate is capitalism v oligarch
@shimineenawhow If you actually had the brain to follow the train of thought that arrives at an RBE you wouldn't be able to argue against it. Your ignorance is really showing though. The earth and everything on it can be treated as a system and it needs to be managed holistically. We can do that today, and give everyone a high standard of living. It seems you prefer to sleep in your poo.
@IAM18YEARSOLDANDOVER You've done the exact thing zeitgeisters always do, "you don't understand" and proceed ad hominem without the touching the argument. Do you have the brain to arrive at an rbe... how will you get groceries, will there be a medium of exchange for you to obtain resources, or will they magically be perfectly allocated to you. We've been able to holistically treat the earth since we've walked on it, and Joseph Stalin, Mao and a few others have tried, and we know the results
@shimineenawhow I don't get groceries with a stupid trolley like you fuckwit, you can dial it up and arrives to your home what you have ordered. No money again dipshit. It's called technology, not magic or utopianism or perfectionism. Something you can't work out in your small brain. We have the technology to do all of this and give everyone a high standard of living. It seems you prefer to sleep in your poo.
@IAM18YEARSOLDANDOVER What are the checks and balances to ensure you aren't ordering more than what is fair for the work you've offered to society? You think you can be allowed uncontrolled access to resources that are scarce? If you are assigned an amount that is what we call money or credit... So computers running everything, not bad for resource management, but there are still foreign relations, emergency management and many issues that would require public stewards...
@shimineenawhow You obviously didn't do your research about what the Zeitgesit Movement is, in addition it seems like you did not watch Peter Joseph's movies which present resource based economy. Ultimately, even if you did, you utterly failed to understand it.
@srki80 In his videos he never gives any specifics about how we are going to implement the RBE or how it will actually function. All he really does is bitch about the current states of things, talks about how science and thought has evolved, bullshits about the scientific method and how we should be able to live in this utopia of which he gives no clear idea about and acts like he's so hot and everyone should get it, he's no different than a politician.
@shimineenawhow@shimineenawhow "There is no such thing as Utopia" (Peter Joseph). Once again, you obviously don't know much about resource based economy or Peter Joseph for that matter. You do not make any sense. All of the things you mention are quite well explained. There are many free books about resource based economy and I recommend you read them before you go into any further discussion. (although, Addendum and Moving Forward would suffice for this discussion). Until then, best of luck.
@shimineenawhow No humans in Government because they fuck up everything, look at history. Time to put in cybernetics for that, no power concentrated in any group. This is a true participatory democracy where you actually participate on the human level. I think your dictator Obama wants you to go and suck his dick again bro.
@IAM18YEARSOLDANDOVER Oh shit I'm sorry I forgot everyone is going to forget about religion, nationality, borders, life's savings, and lay down their weapons and join into one big group while the super computers run everything and unicorns fart rainbows all through the sky... "The Zeitgeist Movement- there's one born every minute." Seriously brah get a job and stop waiting for your messiah Peter Joseph to hand you everything.
So there's an elite group of banksters and richies who really run things, they've been smart enough to control the right and the left for years, but somehow aren't smart enough to find a way to control the resistance movement to their game. Do you Zeitguisers really think its good to hand control over to an elite board of 'scientists' so they can distribute everything evenly and fairly, the Zeit-heist is the elite's end game
@shimineenawhow Alex Jones has really brainwashed you well!!! Kudos to him :). Peter Joseph is just a film director who came across a genuis man (which you are not) named Jacque Fresco. He devoted his life to reason, logic and sense (something that is lacking with you), and arrived at a systems approach to managing the social and environmental realm, rather than using the outdated monetary market system which is built on scarcity which can be outgrown tomorrow.
Resource Based Economy was used in USSR. They called it "planned economy".
This is difficult to accept but ZVP and TZM this is a technical side of communism. Marks was talking more about social transformation from capitalist society to non-monetary and non-property society.
You are still step back from communism without understanding of the main idea and core of it. You have so poor understanding of it.
@Frudor Nope, what they had in the USSR was capitalism where the state owned everything. It had absolutely nothing to do with using your recourses as a basis for your economy and it was nowhere close to what Marx wrote nor to the RBE that TZM promotes. It was just as money based as our so called capitalism society is today.
@Frudor You need to do some more research my friend because you are way off the mark. Did the USSR use resources only? No, they used money. Did they use technology to create an abundance? No. Did they have no militaries, no prisons and no police? No, they had them. The USSR still had politics for fuck sakes, RBE doesn't. They are completely different.
@IAM18YEARSOLDANDOVER Ummm.. no the premises are the exact same... a central body controlling resources and planning, money was only used in the USSR, to alleviate the burden of having the govt plan everything, however, it was still treated as a resource of value, and TZM won't be able to differ in this manner, You seriously think the govt's going to plan your grocery shopping? Also, politics? there was one man, joseph stalin, you really didn't mess with him or he killed you... no politics
@shimineenawhow If you can't see the difference between using natural resources directly rather than money, and using the scientific method to social management to create an abundance and to intelligently manage the earths resources with today's super computers, then you're a lost cause. USSR was a totalitarian state, not even a true communist. Read your history.
@shimineenawhow Since they still used money, as we do today, and they use humans in politics and Goverment, everything gets fucked up and corrupt. It's time to move away from the monetary market to a systems approach with a steady state economy, not growth you fuck. An rbe is going to happen one way or another or we kill ourselves and the environment in the name of greed and profit.
I've seen the ZeitGeist Movies, listened to radio sessions and have watched the youtube vids. This guy is brilliant and I believe in his message. I get that a RBE is what this world needs but I hate to say it......it'll never happen. The only way this world will switch to a RBE is if the world resets itself somehow. All governments would have to be overthrown, total war, total chaos. After that has happened we can only hope that history doesn't repeat itself.
@ChaoticDALO well, if you subscribe to such thought, we supposedly are on the verge of a major world economic collapse. If such a collapse actually took place, it would serve to weed out the vast majority of people that are totally intoxicated by the current infinite growth economic paradigm. This would leave the self-reliant, free/critically thinking people as the new majority of the human population.
Gotta LOVE this man, he has a beautiful sophisticated intellectual mind and a benevolent soul with common sense and wisdom, hes a deep and great thinker, not to mention that all of these trait about him make him VERY ATTRACTIVE and SEXY
He makes one assumption that is fatal to the movement. He thinks people do not want or more to the point do not need leaders. He is a leader and he is in denial as long as he is under this delusion the movement will go no where. Most people need leaders because most people wont do anything important (like research this and pass it on) for themselves, either through laziness, incompetence, lack of time etc.
The Causal-Relationship is missing. Why are people in poverty? Statism; War on the People via War on Poverty, Drugs and Terrorism. US Domestic & International Terrorism.
The police state is mistakenly defined as one with individualism and freedom from the state, i.e. force. Far from it. WAKE UP. The solution is TRADING and division of labor: Capitalism, as defined by Murray N. Rothbard. The result of liberty: Prosperity, increasing the standard of living for all, diminishing poverty!!
i dont think peter knows what effect he is having on the zeitgeist followers. honestly people clap when he coughs..he needs to put a bit more effort into urging people to think/educate/act for themselves, cos honestly most people in that room expect peter joseph to tell them what to do and how to do it. im all for a resource based economy. just pionting out something i thaught was worth discussion.
I have taken this logic a step farther, and the truth is that the earth will die, the sun will die, the solar system will die, the galaxy will die, the universe will expand forever and there is no where the human can go physically, without a spiritual destiny there is no infinite logical hope outside of a heaven concept, and a God concept, but until that time comes we should try to make things better!
@Watchdawg The idea is that there is something out there that is intelligent, and there is a point to life. God is the most likely possible choice that would be the highest being in the universes, or the only non evolved being in the universe. Meaning that there is something out there that is beyond everything else. I have had every other choice in my mind and the God makes most sense to me.
@TerminalEternal "The force" makes more sense to me than a god that is humanlike. Something that is in motion all the time. No opinions, no judgement. And the idea of a heaven is just so ridiculous.
@believerornot No. I'm thinking like the law of gravity or the movement of atoms, whatever causes their movement, you know, that kind of force. Not star wars.
@TerminalEternal I don't think that a god needs to be able to think, if we are talking about some kind of movement/force that is eternal. If it's thinking that must mean that it's in a process of some sort of development. This gets very mind-boggling the deeper you think about it. Maybe it can be interpreted in any way, maybe we can't describe it, maybe it can be both what I say it is and what you say it is. Maybe it can't be discovered, maybe it's never supposed to be discovered!
@Watchdawg I believe in Pluto, ive never been there to see it. I can say that im 99.9 percent sure its there. The God is believed to be real by nearly all humans on earth, Brahman, the great spirit, allah, God, etcetera. I dont believe God could ever be mathematically proven, cuz God would transcend finite reality. Thinking is a part of God, thats the point, the human is generated by the Gods will, to think and feel and know the Gods energy, separate from the God.
If humans exist there must be a God? Why, because we created him that's why. The only thing worth believing is evidence. Anything else is just an idea.
@believerornot if it is evident it should not need to be believed, and it its believed to be true, then there is no proof. If you are in atunement with the God, you are able to believe and make all things into a divine meaning. physical, mental, spiritual atunement to the plane of foreknowledge, take a step back from you, and see the God in us. human, interaction, wars, conflicts are natural, God is supernatural. eat drink and be happy this is the goal of a worm, overcome this!
If you can be convinced to believe in God and the supernatural then you can be convinced of anything. This makes you a perfect candidate for slavery. for eg: You are a slave because its part of Gods plan. Do not question Gods plan.
God is a control tool. Wake up, its not something to be happy about!
Peter is a great man, and very smart. These are things i've been thinkin' for most of my life, but this man has the smarts and the knowhow!! Zeitgeist all the way, the concept of what is really here, and what is really happening. There is no opinion here!! Time for something new people. Peace.
To share the Earth in cooperation for all generations to come, A MONEYLESS,CLASSLESS,STATELESS communities of humanity expressing our multitude of creative energies in harmony and wisdom, The current world socio-economic minority imposition is the negation and alienation of our common humanity Capitalism in corporate or state modality is the tyranical rule of RULING ELITE . The awakening is inevitable, the revolution a must
The word free and market is a contradiction in terms , just as CAPITAL enslaves and exploites WAGE LABOR . The dynamics of World Capitalism whether Corporate dominated or State dictated is the abstract PROCESS of CAPITAL ACCUMULATION and CONCENTRATION. This abstract process is not smooth or linear but DESTRUCTIVE and enforced by MILLITARY MIGHT. The INDUSTRIAL REVOLUTION was underpinned by built up of the BRITISH NAVY and US DOLLAR by world wide millitary bases
It is not necessary to agree with Peter on every aspect to understand that the main focus of his is an appropriate and viable alternative to the current 'system'. I do believe that there is a will that can 'transcend' all environmental influence. So i part with Peter on that subject. If this weren't true, there would be no progression in any field. There is a notion of 'thinking outside the box', whatever that really means.
So if we the members of TZM are serious about changes we need to stop bandaging the problem and make the cure.It is your destiny :) LEARN AND TEACH SELF GOVERNANCE. NEXT AND EVERY OTHER ELECTION VOTE FOR YOURSELF, BUT IF YOU MUST HAVE A GOVERNMENT,DEMAND FROM THEM FREE ENERGY.
Here is my two cents because i dont see anyone else connecting the dots here. It is beyond crucial that humanity harnesses and has access to FREE ENERGY(Google: Nikola Tesla). Once every one has that access all the systems of control will automatically fall. It will also free us to develop the future cities as Mr Fresco proposes and as Al Beilik saw when he visited the future. True or not it is up to us to make it a possibility. It needs to be willed into existence.
how anyone can join a movement based on the fallacies of the first zeitgeist movie: the inacurate history of christianity, "9-11 is an inside job" conspiracy and the worldwide banking conspiracy . I am interested in ressource based economy but it should be talked by trustworty interlocuters. There are other movements out there for you to join.
@fucksignups the movement is based on the idea and common goal of human well being by all means, not the people. That's the illusion this man talks about that is hurting us today. We are electing people instead of truth and understanding. It's not about joining a group it's about being one group, or else divisions among us will continue. Lastly, if you understand it or are human you shouldn't rely on others to talk about it. Overall, we need to be independent in thought not relying on others.

@a1pwn That is sad to hear that, some mountains are harder to move than others. All I can offer you is one statement among many that I use when religion is involved. "Can I ask you one question? Would Judas have betrayed Jesus if there was nothing to gain?" Never give up, even mountains can be cut down, as long as the river stays strong.
@TheCrumbSnatcha: I never said feelings were magical, or that relationships weren't a process. I simply stated that our understanding of those processes are wrong and we shouldn't support determinism. I can message you the study if you want, apparently youtube won't let me put it in the comments.
@sons3e I don't know what sheltered and privileged country you live in, but the world is already on it's way to chaos and war. The war of classes within many countries is imminent, and at the same time the war of the super powers is on it's way, what with America getting weaker and feeling threatened they are bound to strike again before total collapse.
@TheCrumbSnatcha So far in our life Peter Joseph is irrelevent. And he will be, because he doesn't understand what he (and you) is talking about. To make things work like he (or you) wants he will need to put the whole world in terror and civil war for a long time. No one would give him that chance.
What he is talking about is communism. But as you see, it simply doesn't work because most of the world is in capitalism. He says "the most efficient way". Well, what if someone has another view on "effieciency", i.e. "who will decide?
exciting time to be alive. in the 80s...a mere 2 decades ago...NO ONE was talking about this stuff. no one. at all. now...the world is full of these ideas. so amazing...
(pt.2) ...concious effort to change it. The idea that we aren't in control of our own actions and emotions is just silly. Besides, studies show a belief in determinism correlates with a propensity for dishonest behaviour.
The social system being advocated absolutely requires a moral people, but it's over arching beliefs are provably damaging to that morality. Maybe science can tell us how to make stuff but morality tells us how to make relationships.
@Freexthinkerx Actions and emotions are determined by education. If you never realised what you were doing was "Wrong", you would have never have changed your behavior. That's determinism. Emotions, biases, genetics, external pressure, social expectation, persuasion, fear, ignorance, education, and delusion are what determine your choices.
PJ speaks as though the concept of concious will doesn't exist, and that is just as much as myth as the notion of "free" will outside of any circumstances. When I was being born my mother went through serious stress and has her whole life, and yet I don't have an addictive personality or any signs of violent behaviour. I did as a child, however, and my enviornment did nothing but reinforce thouse propensities. However, I came to the realization that what I was doing was wrong and created the...
@Freexthinkerx He doesn't state nor imply that conscious will does not exist. What I have inferred from his videos is that we are pre programmed a certain way within our genetics and environmental factors and experiences act as catalysts to trigger our predisposition to act a certain way or develop a disease. The society is the catalyst for many people today that triggers symptoms such as depression, suicide, and violent behaviors. There is no human nature there is only human behavior.
@Freexthinkerx Furthermore, you came to the conclusion that how you were acting was not how YOU wanted to act, and made a movement to change that. This is the goal of Peter Joseph on a global scale, he is not trying to inhibit this.
Peter Joseph is just great at identifying problems. The Venus project are great at showing us just how good things could be if we were all only interested in the good of the many.
Neither of them have a single clue how to make the transfer happen... so I'm expecting it wont.. EVER
The biggest obstacle to this ever happening is people. We are all way too messed up for this society to work. And there is no way to un mess people. So RBE will never happen.
The reason we have so many problems (especially psychological problems) is because of the kind of society we live in. To solve these problems we have to change society. However we can't change society because of all the problems it has caused in us. We are essentially trapped in a cycle of self destruction that we cannot break. TZM and TVP doesn't have a clue how to break this cycle, they have no effective strategies.. nothing. It failed before it started.
@believerornot First of all: Nice strawman. Looks good. Does it keep the crows away?
Second: You might want to research things a bit better. TZM actually is full on working on spreading awareness and 'breaking the cycle'. That clue that we supposedly don't have? Yeah, we've got it.
Nice try, but it seems that your only objection is "I don't think it'll work!" So what? You're just going to keep living on a sinking ship that has no chance of survival?
I've been a member of TZM since its inception. I know exactly what they are doing. FA, They don't know what to do.They can't even agree on the simplest of things. There is a massive split between Atheists and Theists and there are divisions among each of those groups too.. RBE will never happen because the people behind it do not know how to make it happen and the members don't even understand the principles of the idea. I left the movement when I realized this.
I'd rather focus on feeding my own children rather than the children of some person in a long distant time. ANd I'm convince a RBE has no hope anyway.Even PJ and JF have stopped communicating which pretty much sums up how much hope there is. My kids need food now. living in the third world is no picnic, every moment is precious.
@believerornot There is a big chance that if we keep ignoring our fellow humans like that, we won't be able to tend to ourselves anymore.
PJ and JF haven't stopped communicating, btw. TZM and TVP parted because they realized their means were different. TZM has become a structure of it's own, it's no longer the "Activist Arm" for TVP.
PJ and JF are not on thebest of terms. Did you not see the argument where PJ was F-ing and Blinding at that greedy woman who wants to cash in on VP when JF dies?
PETER GRATE JOB COMBATING IGNORENT ARGUMENTS WITH ROCK SOLID LOGIC... YOU ARE AWSOME MAN. WE NEED CRITICAL THINKING.....I PLEDGE ALEIGENCE TO THE PEOPLE OF THE WORLD... KEEP UP THE FANTASTIC WORK.
@AnimusSolis that is a valid concern, though very unlikely. To understand why, consider the reason why someone whould want to take control: its greed. They want wealth and power. Wealth today is seen as paper money and rare resources that have little-to-no practical use in our everyday lives. Why does someone want to steal a diamond today? Because we see the value of everything we could buy with it. In a RBE, the intelligent management systems and easy free access to anything you might need (th
@Ipustovyk yes ere will be disagreements, that is part of how real truth is discovered in science. Being collaborative rather than competitive means seeing differences of opinion as a good oportunity to approach a known problem from multiple perspectives. It is not a barrier to the society as a whole if that sense of collaboration is embraced. Communism (and other similar models) is based on the idea that a select few have the power to tell the masses how to live their lives, but a RBE allows e
@roger767 in today's society, there are still many mundane jobs filled by humans, but there are increasingly more jobs being filled by mechanization. This would surely be even more pronounced if not for the influence of labor unions and the need for individuals and families to "make a living." That living is predicated on the concept of a need for money for survival and prosperity, but money doesn't in itself provide for our needs...resources and technology (using human understanding to make ef
I think anyone who has worked on a project that involves even a half dozen parties can agree that deciding on project requirement can be a challenging task. Now imagine the project that involves reaching an equilibrium between all the people in the world plus all the environmental factors. It quite the task and will bet that it the first iteration will be horribly flawed. So if we want to implement this type of system we need to be prepared for things to get worse before they get better.
There are plenty of good idea in this video, and we clearly have a problem that needs to be addressed. But the planned society has a very similar to communism and unfortunately it is very difficult make decisions of what to produce and how much for a large group of people. This was one of the weakness of communism even if the corruption problem is removed. I am not apposed to the communist idea there are plenty of positives in that system, but planing for the needs of everyone is difficult.
@lpustovyk The USSR for an example had a centrally planned economy which was based upon a strict to follow anualy renewed plan.
In a ressource based economy there is no plan regarding the economy. Because of the local production the basic needs and most of the wants could be ordered at the local access facility. The product will then be produced if it is not available. With a modern computer network it is no problem to organise the ressources and products in real time... it's a huge difference

All boring but necessary jobs will be automated. All others will be jobs done by people that interested in them. Not everyone is motivated by money. Money shouldn't even be a motivator.
@Gyohdon so in this economy if I don't work I can still eat and live a nice house, sounds like a fairytale. Does this economy have rainbow colored unicorns too
All people that support Zeitgeist have no realisation of their lowly animal origin, which has always and will always leave a stain on our species. We are no rationalistic beings. We are but beasts. Your idea is an over-idealistic fantasy, which will never work for human beings.
Besides, look around you. You've already arrived in Utopia and all because of our 'evil' money based society. And it's getting even better as we speak.
@Averageyuutubemoron - I'm looking around at "our utopia". And you say it's getting even better? I don't understand. I've been looking at some stats lately: We've achieved the hightest debt in the history of the world. Gap between rich and poor keeps widening, resulting in more social problems. We're number 1 in all the bad things, like Crime Rate, Divorce, Rape, Teen Birth Rate, Heart Attacks, Prison Population. We've lost 8 million jobs in the last 4 years. Fifty million Americans...
@Averageyuutubemoron - ...live in poverty. 20 million american children live below the poverty line. And in 2010, more than a million U.S. families lost their homes to foreclosure. Our wars go on and on. In 2007, 26 million Americans were on food stamps, and today... an all-time record 44 million . We'll spend $700 more on gas this year than last. I could go on, running out of space. Was your comment just an opinion... based on a feeling? Or do you have facts to support it? Thanks!
A hundred years ago the numbers you state were much higher relatively. We've improved immensely in the last hundred years. Our standard of living will keep improving like it has since the industrial age. With each passing year it will increase exponentially. And this is all due to capitalism, the best system the world has known.
@Averageyuutubemoron - I agree... best system we've known, or could've had, in the past. Not in the future. In many ways, it's hurting us more than helping at this point in time, and the consumption-cycle that's required for "economic growth" is one of the worst. Have to keep producing stuff... even if we don't need it. Wasting resources just for the money game...on a finite planet? I made some videos to help people take a good look at the game. Here's "the cycle" - watch?v=DLpjIth-vGs
You're saying a cycle is a bad thing, eventhough it is the very thing that keeps things going. All systems in nature have cycles for the simple reason that the cycle perpetuates the system. Also, nobody within the cycle is getting hurt by it, what are you talking about? Please explain to me how things have gotten worse, by influence of capitalism in the last hundred years?
@Averageyuutubemoron - We can't equate the natural lifecycles found in nature with the contrived, man-made money-game which"cycles" endless pollution, waste, and consumption. And, how are we getting hurt? I explain it in detail in this video - watch?v=DLpjIth-vGs -- that I recommended last time. Please watch it this time. After the first minute or so of a roller-coaster ride, the explanation unfolds. Please watch it so you'll understand what we're doing to ourselves. Thank you.
@Averageyuutubemoron your taking cycle out of the context . how have things gotten worse?
how about systematic mass starvation in africa for the first time in human history, depletion of oil, destruction of world's natural habitats, a fucked up climate, and shitty earth? need more?
Yeah, I see what you mean. Those hundreds of millions of people that aren't rich and live in dire conditions; with their computers, internet, fridges, flatscreen TV's and every basic human need satisfied. Oh wait...
@Averageyuutubemoron youre an idiot, the truly poor, do not have a computer to testify, they live in poverty and misery in villages in guatemala, indonesia and many countries in africa, working in factories that provide you with the fukin luxury to post doucheturd comments like that, youre a sad and pathetic liar
Firstly, is it really neccesary to insult me just for disagreeing with you? I think not.
Secondly, what i'm trying to make clear is that a hundred or two hundred years ago, the vast majority of the western world was living in the exact same poverty and misery. Until capitalism brought forth the industrial age by which our standard of living improved dramatically. And ofcourse, there are still people living in poverty, but in time this will improve aswell. Look at South Korea.
ok sorry for insulting you, and thank you for being mature and intelligent enough to show me i was wrong for insulting you, sorry again. The problem is youre overemphasizing the magic of capitalism, and 2. you're making the fallacy of assuming the human condition is fixed, (we are nothing but beasts, so theres nothing we can do about it, were stuck), which is totally against evolution if you think about it, because evolution happens based on change,
It is certainly not against evolution and here's why. In early times the harsh nature of our world compelled us to be a competitive creature. Always strifing for more food, more sex and more respect by the rest of our group. Natural selection favoured those who met this criterium. Now we live in a society that is formed around this habit. You CAN change man's moral judgement by education. But you can NOT change his competitive nature.
For over 3.5 billion years natural selection has compelled all living things to be competitive. In early times, humans and their ancestors were always strifing for more food, more sex and more respect from their group. Natural selection favoured those who strife the hardest. This is where our nature comes from. In time, our society grew around this principal. You can't change a 3.5 billion year old habit with maybe a few hundred years of conditioning to a less competitive environment.
My dog just dropped Fresco's name..... witch prooves that he has done nothing but plug thier movement as well as his own. Peter may just be a near-flawless human. By the way, he is not a god, but this is what iv'e had in my brain since I was a tyke. Haven't you ever gone into church and just felt wierd?..... This guy.......!
Dood, isn't he scared of the type of weapons they have to take him out? He must be damn smart to be alive. Do you guys know anything about how he gaurds himself or why the powerful people are not after him?
@TrueSacredRahXephon Thats actually what I answered. I said the mindset wouldn't be there to do such a thing since a person's needs are met. It sounds lacking though.
What hinders this entire movement is the fear of the NWO! People have been in fear of this way before Mr. Fresco was even born, and that fear is embedded into 90% of at least America's population. Sadly with that said those same 90% will never be able to differentiate between the NWO and TVP!
@Enlightenization Most people who buy into the NWO aren't worth the time of day...they are a threat to a better society and ought to be treated as such, not for being against the society of today but being against an idea of working as a whole.
Zeitgeist proposal of an RBE makes so much sense that the only enemies for it are people that don't understand it!! So let's just learn to explain it better to them :) GO

IAM18YEARSOLDANDOVER 1 month ago
@shimineenawhow We won't be handing over all power to a small group of people in an RBE, that's what you're already doing today though. You really think you're living in a democracy? Ha, go and try getting the best health care possible, you won't be able to because you don't have the money.
IAM18YEARSOLDANDOVER 1 month ago
@IAM18YEARSOLDANDOVER Um, yes we would have to hand over our resources, to the group of "scientists" so they can manage our resources, how else are they going to allocate resources through the scientific method?... I don't need "the best health care possible" and I'm not sure mine differs. I don't live in a democracy, I currently live in USA which is a republic. and your argument that we don't live in a democracy would only play into my "Alex Jones" points... the debate is capitalism v oligarch
shimineenawhow 1 month ago
@shimineenawhow If you actually had the brain to follow the train of thought that arrives at an RBE you wouldn't be able to argue against it. Your ignorance is really showing though. The earth and everything on it can be treated as a system and it needs to be managed holistically. We can do that today, and give everyone a high standard of living. It seems you prefer to sleep in your poo.
IAM18YEARSOLDANDOVER 1 month ago
@IAM18YEARSOLDANDOVER You've done the exact thing zeitgeisters always do, "you don't understand" and proceed ad hominem without the touching the argument. Do you have the brain to arrive at an rbe... how will you get groceries, will there be a medium of exchange for you to obtain resources, or will they magically be perfectly allocated to you. We've been able to holistically treat the earth since we've walked on it, and Joseph Stalin, Mao and a few others have tried, and we know the results
shimineenawhow 1 month ago
@shimineenawhow I don't get groceries with a stupid trolley like you fuckwit, you can dial it up and arrives to your home what you have ordered. No money again dipshit. It's called technology, not magic or utopianism or perfectionism. Something you can't work out in your small brain. We have the technology to do all of this and give everyone a high standard of living. It seems you prefer to sleep in your poo.
IAM18YEARSOLDANDOVER 1 month ago
@IAM18YEARSOLDANDOVER What are the checks and balances to ensure you aren't ordering more than what is fair for the work you've offered to society? You think you can be allowed uncontrolled access to resources that are scarce? If you are assigned an amount that is what we call money or credit... So computers running everything, not bad for resource management, but there are still foreign relations, emergency management and many issues that would require public stewards...
shimineenawhow 1 month ago
@shimineenawhow You obviously didn't do your research about what the Zeitgesit Movement is, in addition it seems like you did not watch Peter Joseph's movies which present resource based economy. Ultimately, even if you did, you utterly failed to understand it.
srki80 4 weeks ago
@srki80 In his videos he never gives any specifics about how we are going to implement the RBE or how it will actually function. All he really does is bitch about the current states of things, talks about how science and thought has evolved, bullshits about the scientific method and how we should be able to live in this utopia of which he gives no clear idea about and acts like he's so hot and everyone should get it, he's no different than a politician.
shimineenawhow 3 weeks ago
@shimineenawhow @shimineenawhow "There is no such thing as Utopia" (Peter Joseph).

Do you Zeitguisers really think its good to hand control over to an elite board of 'scientists' so they can distribute everything evenly and fairly, the Zeit-heist is the elite's end game
shimineenawhow 1 month ago
@shimineenawhow Alex Jones has really brainwashed you well!!! Kudos to him :). Peter Joseph is just a film director who came across a genuis man (which you are not) named Jacque Fresco. He devoted his life to reason, logic and sense (something that is lacking with you), and arrived at a systems approach to managing the social and environmental realm, rather than using the outdated monetary market system which is built on scarcity which can be outgrown tomorrow.
IAM18YEARSOLDANDOVER 1 month ago
Resource Based Economy was used in USSR. They called it "planned economy".
This is difficult to accept but ZVP and TZM this is a technical side of communism. Marks was talking more about social transformation from capitalist society to non-monetary and non-property society.
You are still step back from communism without understanding of the main idea and core of it. You have so poor understanding of it.
Frudor 1 month ago
@Frudor Nope, what they had in the USSR was capitalism where the state owned everything. It had absolutely nothing to do with using your recourses as a basis for your economy and it was nowhere close to what Marx wrote nor to the RBE that TZM promotes. It was just as money based as our so called capitalism society is today.
Chrodarcniss 1 month ago
@Frudor You need to do some more research my friend because you are way off the mark. Did the USSR use resources only? No, they used money. Did they use technology to create an abundance? No. Did they have no militaries, no prisons and no police? No, they had them. The USSR still had politics for fuck sakes, RBE doesn't. They are completely different.
IAM18YEARSOLDANDOVER 1 month ago
@IAM18YEARSOLDANDOVER Ummm.. no the premises are the exact same... a central body controlling resources and planning, money was only used in the USSR, to alleviate the burden of having the govt plan everything, however, it was still treated as a resource of value, and TZM won't be able to differ in this manner, You seriously think the govt's going to plan your grocery shopping? Also, politics? there was one man, joseph stalin, you really didn't mess with him or he killed you... no politics
shimineenawhow 1 month ago
@shimineenawhow If you can't see the difference between using natural resources directly rather than money, and using the scientific method to social management to create an abundance and to intelligently manage the earths resources with today's super computers, then you're a lost cause. USSR was a totalitarian state, not even a true communist. Read your history.
IAM18YEARSOLDANDOVER 1 month ago
@shimineenawhow Since they still used money, as we do today, and they use humans in politics and Goverment, everything gets fucked up and corrupt. It's time to move away from the monetary market to a systems approach with a steady state economy, not growth you fuck. An rbe is going to happen one way or another or we kill ourselves and the environment in the name of greed and profit.
IAM18YEARSOLDANDOVER 1 month ago
I've seen the ZeitGeist Movies, listened to radio sessions and have watched the youtube vids. This guy is brilliant and I believe in his message. I get that a RBE is what this world needs but I hate to say it......it'll never happen. The only way this world will switch to a RBE is if the world resets itself somehow. All governments would have to be overthrown, total war, total chaos. After that has happened we can only hope that history doesn't repeat itself.
ChaoticDALO 1 month ago
@ChaoticDALO well, if you subscribe to such thought, we supposedly are on the verge of a major world economic collapse. If such a collapse actually took place, it would serve to weed out the vast majority of people that are totally intoxicated by the current infinite growth economic paradigm. This would leave the self-reliant, free/critically thinking people as the new majority of the human population.

The police state is mistakenly defined as one with individualism and freedom from the state, i.e. force. Far from it. WAKE UP.
TerminalEternal 3 months ago
@TerminalEternal Why does it necessarily have to be a heaven and a god? Like there arn't other ideas out there?
Watchdawg 1 month ago
@Watchdawg The idea is that there is something out there that is intelligent, and there is a point to life. God is the most likely possible choice that would be the highest being in the universes, or the only non evolved being in the universe. Meaning that there is something out there that is beyond everything else. I have had every other choice in my mind and the God makes most sense to me.
TerminalEternal 1 month ago
@TerminalEternal "The force" makes more sense to me than a god that is humanlike. Something that is in motion all the time. No opinions, no judgement. And the idea of a heaven is just so ridiculous.

Watchdawg 1 month ago
@Watchdawg I believe in Pluto, ive never been there to see it. I can say that im 99.9 percent sure its there. The God is believed to be real by nearly all humans on earth, Brahman, the great spirit, allah, God, etcetera. I dont believe God could ever be mathematically proven, cuz God would transcend finite reality. Thinking is a part of God, thats the point, the human is generated by the Gods will, to think and feel and know the Gods energy, separate from the God.
TerminalEternal 1 month ago
@TerminalEternal Or maybe our expectations of it is wrong.
Watchdawg 1 month ago
@TerminalEternal
If humans exist there must be a God? Why, because we created him that's why. The only thing worth believing is evidence. Anything else is just an idea.
believerornot 1 month ago
@believerornot if it is evident it should not need to be believed, and it its believed to be true, then there is no proof. If you are in atunement with the God, you are able to believe and make all things into a divine meaning. physical, mental, spiritual atunement to the plane of foreknowledge, take a step back from you, and see the God in us. human, interaction, wars, conflicts are natural, God is supernatural. eat drink and be happy this is the goal of a worm, overcome this!
TerminalEternal 1 month ago
@TerminalEternal
If you can be convinced to believe in God and the supernatural then you can be convinced of anything. This makes you a perfect candidate for slavery. for eg: You are a slave because its part of Gods plan. Do not question Gods plan.
God is a control tool. Wake up, its not something to be happy about!

It is not necessary to agree with Peter on every aspect to understand that the main focus of his is an appropriate and viable alternative to the current 'system'.

Okay.

There is a massive split between Atheists and Theists and there are divisions among each of those groups too.. RBE will never happen because the people behind it do not know how to make it happen and the members don't even understand the principles of the idea. I left the movement when I realized this.

@believerornot Leaving it isn't going to do it any better. Giving up is the certainty of failure.
Might as well try. You've got nothing to lose anyway.

@Gyohdon Time... time is what I loose. And a great deal of it. I can't spare it anymore not for something I now see as a lost cause.

@believerornot Time better spent in a system that wishes to enslave you?
You'd rather waste your full life working for the state, than to resist it and try to change it for the better?

@Gyohdon
I'd rather focus on feeding my own children rather than the children of some person in a long distant time. ANd I'm convince a RBE has no hope anyway.Even PJ and JF have stopped communicating which pretty much sums up how much hope there is. My kids need food now. living in the third world is no picnic, every moment is precious.
believerornot 6 months ago
@believerornot There is a big chance that if we keep ignoring our fellow humans like that, we won't be able to tend to ourselves anymore.
PJ and JF haven't stopped communicating, btw. TZM and TVP parted because they realized their means were different. TZM has become a structure of it's own, it's no longer the "Activist Arm" for TVP.
Gyohdon 6 months ago
@Gyohdon
PJ and JF are not on thebest of terms. Did you not see the argument where PJ was F-ing and Blinding at that greedy woman who wants to cash in on VP when JF dies?

I am not apposed to the communist idea there are plenty of positives in that system, but planing for the needs of everyone is difficult.
lpustovyk 6 months ago
@lpustovyk The USSR for an example had a centrally planned economy which was based upon a strict to follow anualy renewed plan.
In a ressource based economy there is no plan regarding the economy. Because of the local production the basic needs and most of the wants could be ordered at the local access facility. The product will then be produced if it is not available. With a modern computer network it is no problem to organise the ressources and products in real time... it's a huge difference

All boring but necessary jobs will be automated. All others will be jobs done by people that interested in them. Not everyone is motivated by money. Money shouldn't even be a motivator.

Gyohdon 7 months ago
@Averageyuutubemoron - I'm looking around at "our utopia". And you say it's getting even better? I don't understand. I've been looking at some stats lately: We've achieved the hightest debt in the history of the world. Gap between rich and poor keeps widening, resulting in more social problems. We're number 1 in all the bad things, like Crime Rate, Divorce, Rape, Teen Birth Rate, Heart Attacks, Prison Population. We've lost 8 million jobs in the last 4 years. Fifty million Americans...
dvmovie 7 months ago
@Averageyuutubemoron - ...live in poverty. 20 million american children live below the poverty line. And in 2010, more than a million U.S. families lost their homes to foreclosure. Our wars go on and on. In 2007, 26 million Americans were on food stamps, and today... an all-time record 44 million . We'll spend $700 more on gas this year than last. I could go on, running out of space. Was your comment just an opinion... based on a feeling? Or do you have facts to support it? Thanks!
dvmovie 7 months ago
A hundred years ago the numbers you state were much higher relatively. We've improved immensely in the last hundred years. Our standard of living will keep improving like it has since the industrial age. With each passing year it will increase exponentially. And this is all due to capitalism, the best system the world has known.
Averageyuutubemoron 6 months ago
@Averageyuutubemoron - I agree... best system we've known, or could've had, in the past. Not in the future. In many ways, it's hurting us more than helping at this point in time, and the consumption-cycle that's required for "economic growth" is one of the worst. Have to keep producing stuff... even if we don't need it. Wasting resources just for the money game...on a finite planet? I made some videos to help people take a good look at the game. Here's "the cycle" - watch?v=DLpjIth-vGs
dvmovie 6 months ago
@dvmovie
Averageyuutubemoron 6 months ago

DJKAYZEE 6 months ago
@DJKAYZEE
Averageyuutubemoron 6 months ago
@Averageyuutubemoron
ok sorry for insulting you, and thank you for being mature and intelligent enough to show me i was wrong for insulting you, sorry again. The problem is youre overemphasizing the magic of capitalism, and 2. you're making the fallacy of assuming the human condition is fixed, (we are nothing but beasts, so theres nothing we can do about it, were stuck), which is totally against evolution if you think about it, because evolution happens based on change,
DJKAYZEE 6 months ago
@DJKAYZEE
Averageyuutubemoron 6 months ago
@DJKAYZEE

What hinders this entire movement is the fear of the NWO! People have been in fear of this way before Mr. Fresco was even born, and that fear is embedded into 90% of at least America's population. Sadly with that said those same 90% will never be able to differentiate between the NWO and TVP!
Enlightenization 8 months ago 2
@Enlightenization Most people who buy into the NWO aren't worth the time of day...they are a threat to a better society and ought to be treated as such, not for being against the society of today but being against an idea of working as a whole.
