  • soften the key a little bit. The edge is really sharp and doesn't look good. also, blur the background a bit. the shadows look bad, lower the opacity. remember less is more.

  • coler corect them

  • the color of people need more duller and more contrast

  • @IncWaters

One of the drawbacks of no-budget film making. You don't get everything you want!

  • the shot looks cool but he is not interacting to the scene , if he is really driving he must look in front of him not at the girl , and u must but some fans just to make it more realistic !

    Good luck !

  • @mobbydogg1

    Thanks for input and compliment.

  • She is cute(L)

  • @119markus1

She is that!! But she's also one hell of an actress. Wait until you see her fight scenes!!

  • The moving shadow actually hurts more than it helps, to my eye—it looks visibly flat, and makes the foreground appear strangely underexposed. You could fix some branches to the end of a broomstick (PVC pipe, whatever works) and have a stage hand rotate it in front of the light. Provided the screen and talent are lit separately, this shouldn't give rise too many problems in keying. (Just my two cents, good job anyway).

  • @shinWangXiao

Thanks for the thoughts.. Unfortunately, this was shot with a crew of 5 (including the actors), hence the need for visual tweaking. I fully agree with you about the shadow pass. The problem here is that this pass was created on a single layer. I've since done another test, separating different areas, giving the shadows more depth, and a more realistic motion over the actors.

But you'll have to wait for the final release version of the film to see that!! :p

  • Golf cart with a V8 turbo engine and a quad-fuel injection system.

  • i will have a look again

    - the angle is slightly off ... the background footage n the forground in which the kart is driving

its a cool vidz for a green screen tutorial

    - the shadow, i would norm expect it to pass faster

n different speed from the background

i dont know but i feel the forground is very Sharp

might be my eye .. but the final blend feels a bit rough

like cut out .. dont know if that make sense

n the camera shake looks weird

  • @13makio

Thanks for the clarification. The speed on the BG footage is too great, as we have yet to shoot that plate. The shake was a simple frame animation with no motion blur added. The final version will include the proper background, and the shadow pass will be animated from that as well. As for the final composite being cut out, again keying was done in one pass (just a test), thought this did give us good separation on the hair.. Thanks again.

  • @DelphianFilms2 - the alpha channel .. looks great btw .. well done with the keying

the detail in the hair is something i am still tryin to get

  • i will have a look again

  • No it does not look very very good

its pretty .. very veryy ungood actually

  • @13makio

Thanks for the comment.. but it would be more helpful if you could detail what you find wrong with the footage.

Without specifics, you are simply flame baiting.

  • it looks ok.. ehh yeah ok

  • nice job...but what is an alpha pass?

  • Well I didn't say Alpha pass. But I can guess you mean alpha channel. An alpha channel is what you get when you eliminate a specific color using chroma keying techniques. In essence, a single color range would become transparent , that would be your alpha channel.

  • Great job man! I'm interested in how you were able to do the camera shakes. Did you use expressions to achieve this effect?

  • @FiImNation

Didn't use Expressions. Just a simple animation of the full composite, using after effects. Enlarged the frame by three pixels on each side, and then created the shake by moving the frame randomly throughout the scene.
