claro que tiene los cortes de la musica tejana lo que es bateria y bajo son provenientes de la musica texana solo que en el norteno los grandes bateristas como jose luis ayala empesaron a meter arreglos de musicos tejanos y en el acordeon la verdad el norteno tiene buenos pero los mejores en cuanto a rapides son tejanos aumque los mas comerciales an sido los nortenos yo en lo personal empese a tocar musica nortena y nunca me cambiare de genero arriva el sax. cpb

Even if they did sound like Duelo, which they don't, it still wouldn't be Tejano. Tejano is way different than norteno and alot of people assume that just because a group does not have sax its tejano. In reality the real, original, norteño music is pure accordion, the Ramon Ayalas, Cadetes, etc. etc. The sax didnt come into norteño music till much later. People that say this sounds Tejano are the same people that say that Ramon Ayala and Intocable are Tejano, and They are NOT!!!

Sounds like Duelo? Not even close. Duelo is way more slower beat. I am sorry but this is nothing like tejano music. This has a crisp beat, unlike the tejano music. Every norteno band with sax has their own style. And about using the sax throught out the song, thats a gift and not any sax player can do it. Just my two cents.

I'd have the opportunity to play with the sax player and believe me he is one of the best sax players. He can easily play any song of Maquinaria, Marineros,etc, etc. This a new norteño music style which features more difficult bajosexto/bajoquinto and base/bajo players. Not any bajosexto/bajoquinto player can play a Nuevo Galope song identically.

California style? Sounds like Duelo if you ask me bro..... the sax is used for 25 seconds in the whole song.......... or maybe its that im used to the hardcore norteno like Maquinaria, Polo Urias, Marineros. Dont get me wrong, it sound cool, but I wouldnt buy their cd.

Dude this sax player is a really good one, keep looking them up, when they play Rieleros songs they play them just as good if not better cuz they add some modern moves and the sax sings along the entire song. These romantic songs hit but its the old school stuff that everyone likes to hear when they play.

It sounds great and honestly this is a diffrent style dan ur original Polo urias and all dat crap.. but it sounds a whole lot heavier and dats prolly why u saying it sounds like Duelo. Because the "pasadas dat a "Grupero" group such as, Duelo, Ramon Ayala, La leyenda, Salomon Robles, Eliseo Robles, Into. r heavier

@ShadowDTX dan the regular "Tundi Tundi" that nortenos do w sax. I like sax dnt get me wrong but i jst think theese guys are a whole lot better.. Cuz u got a lil bit of both combine. Heavy stile and Sax/Norteno. and I WOULD DEFENETLY RECOMMEND U TO BUY THE CD!! the band with Froylan is now called "EL NUEVO GOLPE" and that cd is awesome. Dat guy is perron 4 the pasadas on the bajosexto/quinto and he sings off the chain too.!!
