Suryakumari was 21 years at thetime of this shooting. She Is Daughter of T.SriRamulu Brother of Tangutoori Prakasam garu, ( Married to Herold Elvin and setteled and expired in London ( 13-11-25 / 25-4-2005) : Notice the actor in Young Krishna's role in the dance- KrishnaKumari sister of Showkaru Janaki - Arani Apparao-Hyderabad-A.P.
If she is Tanguturi Prakasam's granddaughter, is it fair to assume she is the daughter of Tanguturi Suryakumari? I assume the latter is the daughter of Sri Prakasm. Or was she a sister of his?
I don't mean fight. What I meant is that they use the Shaiva marks, and since I don't know the language and the story behind I asked. So the singer is a Rama's devotee?
@intvak21 I saw this upload today and your request to explain. Kuchipudi is a small village near Vijayawada. The whole village is full of "Veedhi Bhagavathas". Those who play Srimadbhagavatham stories are Bhagavathas. They have their own style of dancing in compliance with rules of Bharatamahamuni but with a different style. They go in batches to other towns and play them in the streets in front of rich persons' houses. All their plays are in Telugu only.
@intvak21 I saw a request to explain by mokeymind09. It is not meant to you. I sincerely tender my apologies for the inconvenience and irritation caused to you. Respectfully, Sureedu
@SUREEDU Hey no problem. Just wanted to make sure you have not mistakenly put your comment for me. If that comment was for mokeymind09, you should edit it to point to him/her. Otherwise the concerned person might never see it. thanks :-).

@SUREEDU The dance starts with a poem - describes how the gopikas are requesting the jasmine bush whether Krishna a black boy with lotus eyes and who rains nectar on his devotees is hiding behind them. The dance shows a gopika (milkmaid) requesting Krishna not come in her way to Madhura city where she goes for selling milk and curd.
The small girl I believe is Grand Daughter of Sri Tanguturi Prakasam Pantulugaaru, He is known to have acted female parts in plays. He was the first Chief Minister for Madras Presidency and was given the title Andhra Kesari when he tore his shirt and exposed his chest to British Guns in 1925.
He was also the the first and only CM for the presidency. The little girl in the dance is SHYMALA his grand daughter, from his eldest son T.Narsimham and Ahalya Devi.
I guess, Tyagayya have written kirthanas on Lord Shiva also.

Hi iseeking,
The cute kid may be the grand daughter of Telugu Kesari avaru. T. Suryakumari married an English man in 1950s and no issues with her marriage.

They look like Shaivas but they are worshiping Krishna? Since I don't understand the language I don't follow. Could someone explain?
ekagaurangadas 2 years ago
Shaivas do not hate vishnu nor vice versa.
There were some few people who were foolish enough to fight on such silly matters long ago. But, these were an exception rather than the rule.
For example, Tyagaraja's songs were and are enjoyed by both Shaivas and Vaishnavas even though he mostly wrote them on Lord Rama.
