  • how's he cocky? it might be because some people are simple minded jealous fucked up wankers like yourself so you have to come out with that shit.

  • LOL uploaded by 'steschumacher' ... I wonder which cocky and arrogant Formula One driver he supports...

  • A short while later, he gets overtaken by Kimi around the outside at spa going into les combes.

  • Stop the presses!!!!!! A racing car driver believes in his ability. The horror, save the children!!!!!!!!!!!

  • come on lewis get your fucking head together for this season boy!

  • wow how young does he look, sound and just seem here, he is a completely different person now

  • Bwahahaha, what's funny was how after this interveiw he was overtaken around the outside. XD

  • @Anton2004 LOL I thought this too! But up until that point, he had just been overtaken on the outside once - the overtake he is talking about... It's like Massa was watching.

  • change the title to 'uploader- twat with no life'

  • Compared to Vettel he is an arrogant prick. Hamilton said "he felt like he was driving with Ayrton Senna and the previous champions" 2 races before he won in 2007. And he lost. Vettel had 1 point left to get in 5 races and they sent him the FIA F1 Championship papers and he threw them in the trash until he had officially won. That's a true champion, HUMBLE!

  • hes not arrogant or cocky but was overtaken round the outside by massa at hungary 2008 before this race

  • He rarely gets overtaken cause he takes them out first

  • you've probably been judged alot and given a hard time during your life, but no need to pick on lewis ;)

  • Even taken out of context, Hamilton does not sound cocky or arrogant. Enjoy all your dislikes steschumacher.

  • It is out of context because in that interview he was talking about the fact massa two weeks earlier (in budapest) overtook him on the outside, and that it was the first time it ever happened

  • It's no big deal anyway. I've never ever been overtaken on the outside in any F1 race either ^_^

  • Please remove this waste of space from the server you useless hater

(I'm not a Hamilton fan, people like you just need to grow the hell up)

I congratulate your editing there by the way because you make anybody in the entire world into a twat with half arsed editing and I think your dislikes to likes ratio reflects all that

  • I'm not a Hamilton fan. But I think the bashing he gets from so many people is downright ridiculous.

  • Agreed with the comments. All sports man who are successful are cocky to an extent. In this vid he was probably stating fact and didnt come across as being arrogant.

  • well its not cocky-ness its fact you can be arrogant to a certain level exploit your talent don't call him arrogant because i don't think you can get and f1 car on the outside of him

  • i used to take him round the outside, until i got an arrow to the knee

  • the very next rave Kimi passed him on the out side

  • And it was on that race where this interview was made that Felipe Massa pased him round the outside at the start what was that again Lewis?

  • @sillywhitby Raikkonen took him on the outside in Belgium 2008.

  • Comment removed

  • You can be overtaken on any side on the first lap you prick he is on about during that like after the first lap, by the way there is a difference between being cocky and being good and he is very good

  • Hungary 2008. Felipe took him from the outside on the first lap.

  • @terkmadugga Yeah and lewis overtook him and hung him out on the kerbs twice in successive corners.

  • my pet rock has more brain than you do

  • haaaaa this says alot about the poster.

  • what is peoples problem with him is is a world class driver and he is correct i have not seen him over taken on the out side very much becuase his defensive driving style is awesome

  • Arrogant...get the fuck out of here! You're idiot!

  • EHHH Alonso took him on the out side at silverstone! i dont hate hamilton but i just wish people would stop moaing about it! FORZA

  • @ScuderiaF3rrari That was then,this is now.

  • @MclarenGooner12 fair play, but Alonso took him at silverstone i should no i saw it.

  • Smashelton out, Paul De in sooner the better

  • "in ways that no other Brit could dream of"

    please

  • LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL TEN SECOND VIDEO LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL FUCK YOU AND THIS VIDEO HE HAS THE RIGHT TO BE. HE WAS A WORLD CHAMPION FUCK YOU

  • why are people here talking about Hamsters karting records.....to continue this argument then, it must seem that Nico Hulkenberg is the greatest driver around...... oh, and Hamilton is no great driver. I'd take Button every day of the week. In another 10 years Hamilton will be one of those random, lucky drivers that got a championship between the Schumi/Vettel era.

  • steschumacher you're an asshole

  • Oops

  • lweis was a bit arrogant but hes changed people need to realise that

  • /watch?v=_jJsk2VKISU&feature=related

  • its not cocky its TRUE!!

  • A good racer but overrated in terms of being the best of the best in F1.

  • When do you ever see a modest F1 driver? You have few examples of that. It's only in the drivers nature to be slightly boastful.

  • @55DJL Well atleast Vettel, Raikkonen and Kubica are more modest than Lewis and Falonso Eyebrow Santander....and that's why those 3 are my fav F1 drivers.....sure Ham and Eyebrow arent bad drivers, but I just cant their personality....but I know that many Falonso and Ham fans feel the same way about Kimi...

  • information taken out of context is a dangerous thing. why did you cut the interview so short?

  • Yer Whatever Lewis

  • steschumacher I think we know who really is the arrogant and cocky one here ;)

  • Does help that he has had the best car from day 1.

  • Gosh why is it so wrong to say your good at something. Its not cocky, its true!

  • Thats what he thinks, it might be wrong but thats what he thinks. Theres nothing wrong with what he says and im flagging this video because of the misleading title.

  • No shit. I guess that in general it's hard to overtake anyone who's in a fucking McLaren...

  • This 10 seconds doesn't show the context in which this response is based on. You can take a few words from any interview and make it out to be something it's not....this means absolutely nothing!!

  • @qazwsxedc129 not good enough for you? I read him saying in an interview that he destroyed alonso in 2007. Pretty arrogant don't you think? Maybe they should ask him what jenson has done to him this year if he believes ending up tied on points equals destroying.

  • @aieljose That one sounds a bit dodgey...but I'm not going to say anything either way because I haven't heard that before. As for this year Jensons done nothing to him, considering Lewis had a tough year with 3 DNF's and many penalties he didn't finish too far behind and got the 3 wins just like Button. Not that I don't like Button, I just love Hamiltons driving style....the characteristics of many F1 greats.

  • @qazwsxedc129 2 of those dnf's were his fault. The other was a mechanical dnf. Jenson has had 2 mechanical dnf's by comparison. Jenson done the better job this year. Even hamilton acknowledges this and what is hamiltons style? Go all out burn out your tires early then crash into someone? Because thats what he been doing for the last year and a half on a consistent basis. He simply has learned to adapt his style to suit the pirellis which is a real weakness. He may have the pace over jenson but

  • @qazwsxedc129 if he can't adapt then he will continue to struggle.

  • @aieljose Canada, definitely Lewis, one mechanical and it wasn't his fault at Spa. But that's starting a whole other debate! This has been one of Buttons best years and if you look at this year alone, yes he has done a better job. What I'm saying about his driving style is he makes the kind of overtakes other people don't even attempt, I'd rather see drivers try and fail then not try at all. This video shows what I mean: watch?v=2vcGYuGNPS0 . But ignore the lame editing just look at the driving!

  • @qazwsxedc129 well hamilton admitted to being at fault in spa but yes i agree with you that he has made some great overtakes when he does get it right.

  • I remember he said this then Raikkonen did it at the next race. Hilarious!

  • Can't remember as far back as Hungary 2008 then?

  • how can you possibly take one little bit of an interview out of context and say he's being cocky and arrogant and the most likely reason your hating on him is because you want to be him and because you having nothing left in your life to look forward to but which colour you want your coffin to be.

  • @jkh100

Let's face it!When an f1 driver says "I very rarely get overtaken" he's being cocky, arrogant and a fucking douche...End of story!

  • @uessaloniki oh do me a favour seriously! the fact of the matter is, he very rarely does get over taken, and he is just one of the few who provides a master class in formula 1 on just how to overtake someone. can you honestly say you see him getting over taken alot, NO, that's because he doesn't. the guy is a world champion, so even is he was being cocky and arrogant, deservedly so. look at christiano ronaldo, there is a prime example of someone cocky and arrogant, i dont like him, but he's good

  • Respond to this video... he doesn't speak in a cocky and arrogant tone, he's just simply stating a fact, because its true. its like if vettel answered a question with "well no because im a two time world champion" i wouldnt say that cocky and arrogant, the guy would be stating what he is, and again, deservedly so, so take your condescending, outlandish and bullshit of an opinion and shove it up your arse!

  • Makes me cringe a little, I just want to tell him to stop mid sentence and think about what you're saying!

  • At the time he said this it was entirely accurate, ENTIRELY ACCURATE! so forget all moves since then cos he wasnt predicting the future.

Buttons current form is a flash in the pan, this is fact

  • @nicelittlerunner

Buttons current form is a flash in the pan, this is fact >>>> a fact? would you please be so kindly provide your scientific proofs on this? could you have "known" the future already? or is this "FACT" of yours based on your opinion?? yeah ... i bloody thought so ...

PS: as a Button fan, I wholly disagree with the "top comment" above which claims that Button > Lewis ... if you truly think that then you are just as delusional as a certain section of Halmiton's fans.

  • Raikkonen overtook him from the outside at Spa 2008.

  • twat

  • tracto91 But this interview was before the Belgian Grand Prix in 2008

  • he means a special corner

  • this is from ages ago when he first joined f1, he had no experience in choosing his words properly, loads of young f1 drivers put their foot in their mouth. this one isnt even that bad who remembers when he said "its better to be up the front than at the back with all the monkeys" haha

  • @sniktun

That was a brilliant comment by Hamilton, especially as he spent the first half of 2009 being at the back!

  • @fiwo2

ever heard of gear ratios?? schumacher had higher ratios so it would have been impossible for him to overtake schumacher anyway.

  • wots so cocky n arrogant about this, stupid video

  • How is this "cocky" and " arrogant"??

  • @fiwo2 In all honesty, I felt that Kimi's motivation was already beginning to sag even before he won the World title. Maybe around 2006-ish, that's when he first showed the early signs of an "I'm not sure I enjoy this anymore" mentality. Gradually, it became "I really do not want to be here." If he does come back with Williams next year, I don't know what he expects to be different. I've followed Lewis for 15 years and have a lot of time for him, but I can't deny he's disappointed me lately.

  • Ok!

1.Every Alonso fan is an Asshole and 13 people are Nascar fans

    2.Thats all

  • @fiwo2 The problem with Raikkonen was the same one that Lewis has now - it stopped being about hard racing and getting on with the job and slowly became more and more about, glamour girls, agents, ego, cash and bling. Lewis would never have arrogantly strutted 'round in "don't ever make eye contact with me" shades and blundered into other cars that he doesn't seem to realise are there in his brilliant rookie season. I also felt Raikkonen was best in the early days, before ice cream and loafers.

  • I'm not trying to convince you. That would be a waste of time .I just wanted to let know that he overtook schumacher in Monaco.

  • lewis hamilton is an over rated arrogant little wanker who i wouldnt mind dying in the next f1 race

  • @funkymcmunky why the hell would you wish for him to die you stupid twat, now i dont like alonso but i wouldnt wish for him to die you tosser.

  • @246kush for the reasons i gave you knob

  • @fiwo2

Hamilton 202 points schumacher 70 points

And by the way lewis overtook him too at monaco so calm down .

  • lol you all say he's cocky but I bet NONE of you could drive an f1 car as well as he can, especially in 2008.

  • I still hate u Lewis.

  • as you can see by the cap, this was few seasons ago so anything this year dont count

  • Success atracts haters

  • Button > Hamilton

  • @TittyTittyBangBangXX Button is not cocky like Lewis yes, but not brilliant like Lewis. This indeed was super cocky by Hamilton. McLaren should replace him with someone else.

  • @TittyTittyBangBangXX

How can Button be better ?

When drove the flying Brawn GP BGP 001 in 2009

He managed to win only 4 poles and 6 victories

  • @KeepYourHandup972 Hamilton gets involved in more racing incidents than Button, He's a little too aggressive sometimes. Button is in 2nd place this year with 1 race to go.

  • @KeepYourHandup972

If Button beats Hamilton in his worse season so far it's doesn't mean he is better .

Jenson is a 12 years experienced driver Lewis is only 5

  • @TittyTittyBangBangXX Wrong... Button will never "Outperform" Lewis, thats why its 13 - 6 qualifying to lewis. the only time button "beats" lewis is when lewis has a problem. case closed, Hamilton is a million times better than button the wannabe, Go ask alonso who hell be watching in the winter... because its sure as hell not button or vettel the taxi drivers.

  • @x420Raptor1 Wait a second, who was 2nd in points this year? Oh that's right It was Jenson Button.....Hamilton drives like he sleeps with men.

  • Lol the lot of you just sum up Hamilton's fan base really... I'm a McLaren fan so don't even start but pretty much all of you let the team down. Great fan base we have.

  • @picturetakingbunny you are a.... WAAAAANKER.

  • what is wrong with what he said?

Fuck you faggots Lewis is the best

    Eat Vettel's cock

and while you're at it slurp Alonso and Schumi while getting head from Massa

  • God, what a complet tosser, he really gets on my nerves!!!!!!!

  • @picturetakingbunny your a cunt, there is nothing wrong with what he said their, its fact

  • I doubt he meant it like that...

  • this is why i dont like him!!!!

  • @Crosby128 This clip is from 2008/2009 as you can see from his hat

  • this vid dont matter. what matters is lewis becoming champion in 2012.

  • The vid last 10 seconds ...

Neither the question nor the end of the interview are mentioned .This is not objective .This is called rubbish.

    Lewis still is my favorite

  • Hamilton IS the most naturally gifted driver out there...but the fact is, he hasn't pieced it together consistently since his rookie season in 2007, in spite of his title win. He's a Montoya - fast, but extremely error-prone and in constant conflict with the stewards (though I will admit that stewards have been on a witch hunt with him sometimes - Spa 2008 being a classic case in point). The best in the World ON PAPER, but right now not in practice in my view.

  • @azapro911 Naa he is not, he causes accidents, silly mistakes and also has an attitude when things don't go his way (like a child) including that he does have a baby face. Vettel is the most gifted driver out there, and even from karting, he has the persistancy, mind set and determination of a true champion.

  • @HAPPYskiller Because of course, we've never seen Sebastien Vettel pout like a spoilt child or cause a stupid accident. Vettel may be the best all-round package out there (after Fernando Alonso), but he isn't the most naturally gifted beihnd the wheel, in the same way that Prost - although awesome in his own right - didn't have Senna's God-given brilliance at the wheel, the take-your-breath-away-stuff that only a handful of drivers have ever done. Hamilton has that, but for me Vettel doesn't.

  • @azapro911 To say that Vettel is not a naturally talented driver, and to say hamilton has, is like saying god is bad and the devil is good (Just an example, religion is bollox) hamilton is not a very good driver and doesn't get anyone on the edge of their seats besides when he causes an accident or starts to moan, "Don't talk to me when im racing" = exact quote from hamilton during a race, not very naturally talented, he's a racer who can't multitask.

  • @HAPPYskiller That's because when the team are talking to him it's when he's in the braking zone or in the middle of a corner. Alonso also told the team to stop at Melbourne 2010...

  • @VeyronGlen Check out the clips on here, and also when he was on the pit straight in turkey he told them to stop distracting him..

  • @HAPPYskiller I agree that the 2009-11 Hamilton can't multitask or raise hairs, but the 1998-08 Hamilton COULD. Vettel IS a brilliant driver, no question. But there are certain things that only a handful of drivers - Senna, G. Villeneuve, previously Hamilton - could do at the wheel which simply mesmerized. They just had a certain feel for where the grip and - usually - the limit were, particularly in the wet.

  • @azapro911 You're not seriously comparing karting to Formula 1? That's like comparing Rap to Techno or anything else, they are completely Different, You can NOT put hamilton into the same catagory as Senna Either, that's just like calling hamilton awesome, which he is not. Schumacher would best fit into that catagory, then Vettel following very closely behind with hamilton breathing on the window. Button has a better feel in the wet than hamilton and anyone else in f1 by a long way.

  • @HAPPYskiller I've watched Lewis Hamilton since he was 8 years old. I've seen him force every type of car dance around the World's best circuits in ways that no other Brit could dream of for 13 years, not just since 2007 when everyone else hopped on the bandwagon. Yes, frankly, he DOES have a certain measure - no, not ALL - of Senna's ability at the wheel. And I did say that he wasn't nearly consistent enough these days to make it count. Karting and Formula 1?? Where did you get that bit from??

  • @azapro911 Lol you've watched him since he was 8, ambitious asa young one, but he is aweful at F1, he is clumsy and does cause many mistakes not thinking before he does an action which will have him repremanded with drive throughs and such. no1 gives a shit if you watched him since karting, this is f1 and he sucks ass. You were comparing karting to formula 1..thats where from

  • @HAPPYskiller Yes, the guy with 1 World Championship (which could have been 3), 17 wins, 42 podiums, 19 poles, 11 fastest laps and 723 points in 5 years really must be awful at Formula 1. At no point did I compare karting to F1. And I certainly don't give a shit about fair-weather fans who ignore drivers until they get to F1 and then hop on the bandwagon once they win a race. What would you have said about Ayrton Senna back in 1983 then? "Oh, he hasn't been in F1 yet, so he must be shit." :-/

  • @azapro911 3? lmao...saying that vettel could have also had 3 then, in 2009 he was shy of P1. And i never said it was aweful ,he's been there 5 years..vettel has done almost half of the points in 1 season..and yeah you actually did. I've been watching Vettel and supporting him from him being in torro rosso in 07-08, When did i say that being in karting is uncomparable? they have their chance just like every f1 chance who can either win or lose..Now im done talking to you, learn some.

  • @HAPPYskiller I can't learn something if I've been taught nothing. Oh and "You're not seriously comparing karting to Formula 1?", that's where. Now I too am done.

  • Hamilton knows hes the best! what do you expect him to say? " yes im rubbish i dont deserve to drive a car because i have no skill" ??

  • @TuneViper Absolute right!

  • "I very rarely get overtaken, so..."

  • The good old lewis hamilton..

  • I am the biggest lewis hamilton fan, but i agree with the title, BUT he has changed, demostred at korea 2011

  • Why have you edited this video only for this specific comment? It almost looks like you're trying to make him look something he's not...

  • you nobs this video was shot in 2008 LOL...

  • ohhh lol why dont you show that whole interview you twats

if you watch the whole interview, you will see why he said it, instead of just editing out what you want people to see and serve you own needs sooo fuking sad bro

    FUKING HATERSSSSSSSSSSSSS

just shut the fuk up and go hide in a corners, losers

  • @LyricalLover3 Indeed. I still think all the Lewis hate stems from his skin colour though. Just saying.

  • Comment removed

  • Michael Schumacher overtook Hamilton at Monza 2011 right on the outside :))) ahhahahaha

  • @tracto91 Well mate that was a month ago,This interview was 3 years ago

  • @tracto91 and Massa overtook him on the outside at Hungary '08 - or are not counting the starts of races?

  • @tracto91 thing is though this interview was before shumi overtook him round the outside

  • @tracto91 thats 2007 or 2008 stupid look at his cap its not the 2011 cap and his shirt is white and the team shirt is black in 2011

  • @tracto91

Yes, but the interview was in 2008 you cretin.

  • @tracto91 No he didnt, the line he took was the inside into the chicane, so syck it idiot

  • @tracto91

and hamilton made schumacher look stupid in china 2010

  • @tracto91 Michael Backmacher?? hahahahaha!

  • Fucking Hamilton massa should put a spring through his eye

  • @ScuderiaF3rrari Hahah dont say 'spring' to Massa, the moron might go into another coma. Little baby should retire, hes clearly lost the entire plot. Disgrace to great names like Senna.

  • @Invincible278 massa nearly died so get a life. Massa is 1 of the est drivers ever to drive for the scuderia he is just having a bad season, he was leading the cha, pionship last year for a fe races and 2008 he was fighting with that black guy!!! FORZA MASSA FORZA SCUDERIA FERRARI MALBORO!!! \O/ (MASSA WINNING)

    FORZZZZZA

  • watch?v=dsY9X6d1aHY&feature=related

  • Biggest Arse Collapse Embarrassment to F1

  • if a pilot think is not the best he should quit...not a fan boy of hamilton but man the guy is in top 3 best drivers of F1 right now

  • lol this guy might stick on comedy after quitting F1 wich i honestly hope he do before disgracing the fair play one more season. fucking son of a bitch you make non racist people call you fucking twat nigger

  • @KStealed Why don't you drive then you absolute ape? what a tool you are you pathetic racist shit!

  • @MagicAyrtonforever i do drive asshole, but not OVER other drivers

  • @KStealed Show me ONE vid where Hamilton has driven OVER other drivers you fantastic retard.

  • I fucking laughed. "You fantastic retard." Ah-hahaha!

  • @KStealed Joder tu cancer MADRE!!

  • @OSORIOO sorry to say she is taurus. sorry to say you fail. sorry for lamilton fans.

  • I think you should perhaps buy a dictionary and have a good look at the word cocky. A ten second clip in which he states what he believes to be a fact. Get a life man.

  • out of the top drivers, he's been overtaken the most this season... lol Hamilton

  • @dario272 this was 2008...

  • @dario272 No, he's taken himself out many times this year, never been overtaken around the outside...Massa came close in Silverstone.

  • Comment removed

  • @MagicAyrtonforever I can't agree more LOL! Just disappointing, the kind of luck Jenson is having in comparison with him, Lewis deserved the win today at Japan, but the puncture scuppered everything, and yet again, Massa came into play!

  • @nitroboost8765 Jenson made Lewis look average in Suzuka.
