  • this is a good song

  • anoying song :P

  • This is cool, how long did it take to make and render and the pc specs?

  • Are u all guys retards? READ THE INFO THE creator wrote.

Here I show you a few of the techniques that were necessary for a project of my OWN, trying to IMMITATE the actual Sony ad with CG-effects. I used Cinema 4D to create all the balls and AfterEffects...

    damn retards!

  • Gmod would have been easier :P

  • sony doesnt play around when it comes to commercials... they REALLY threw like 300,000 bouncy balls down a street lol plus they got alot of other crazy commercials youd think were fake like the paint one and the yarn one and the play doh

  • @bitski488 yep, tippped skips of bouncy balls

  • ant the magic was gone:( I love that comercial but I've always tought that balls was real

  • The balls in the sony add were real, this is a recreation using a 3d program to try to show how it might have looked CG

  • the balls in the sony add were real indeed

  • @milunia7 they were real

  • FAKE!

  • they used real ball it was in guinness book of records

  • tha's not truth

    sony really use balls¡¡¡¡

  • this rigth

  • sony actually threw tons of balls down a street

  • Sorry, but Sony's ad is Like No Other

    good skills though

  • FAIL

  • nice C4D skills :)

  • shit

  • Nice.

  • of course the actual ad was done with real balls...the video just refers to my own attempt to immitate the commercial...unfortunately i didnt have 250.000 balls lying around in my basement, so i had to deal with it differently :e

  • question is-did your PC stand the stress-test of rendering all these balls? :]

p.s-where did u learn how to use all those advanced physics in C4D? anything online? [p.s-i would add grain, so the balls wont look so shiny\CG looking].

  • The original was taped with real balls. So why do you write in the description: "Here I show you a few of the techniques that were necessary for the project."?

NONE of these techniques were used!!!

1 from for this misleading information.

  • The origional ad wasnt't computer drawn though...knob.

  • :D

    Good job!

    hey, wat's the song ???

    Is funny XD

    Thanks

    Bye

    ♣♣♣♣♣

  • Mayby you already found it, but the song is called: Baby elephant walk

  • i am impressed it is very cool how you've got this to work with so many shots and angles its great. i love how they used actual balls for the advert though but this is a great bit of work.

  • the music is Baby elefant walk from movie hatari

  • yeah, it's cinema 4d and adobe after effects...also runs on vista ;e

  • can this software be used on windows vista?

  • Isn't this the goose song from The Aristocats?

  • its very good animation so well done. but in the acctual addvert they used over 100 Thousand real rubber balls!!! But still well done

  • Good job

  • You should take a look at all my Videos before you post such an unthoughtful comment. Then you'll see that the description is referring to one of my own projects, which has nothing to do with the real Sony commercial. Sure Sony did it "real", but I chose CG.

  • He wrote in his description "Here I show you a few of the techniques that were necessary for the project." This is wrong! SONY used only real balls. Far more than 100000. There is no computer animation, as there isn´t any in the paint ad.

  • we looked it at a KUNStSTUNDE with HERR NEUBERT... ^^

  • haha...Cheap... please show off your 3D animation skills somewhere else not in SONY~!

  • It looks FAKE cause its a goddamn example I doubt he wanted to take the time to make it look REAL for an example as that takes more time that he would have wanted for instance the sony comercial they could have made realistic looking bunnies in 3D. He chose to show you ways you could do that..

  • Hello, i do not speak english very well, i need if you can tell me the name and author of that song in the video.. Thanks! :D

  • dont know name, but i think it is out of the aristor cats is that is any help

  • The track is 'Baby Elephant Walk' by Henry Mancini

  • shorten it a bit,,,too long,,,i cant even see the whole shit

  • she/he never said that he was doing what sony did, he/she just gave something to show a solution to those at home who don't have money to buy 50,000 bouncing balls and a street at San Francisco. Lets face it, big productions like that takes money.

  • I don't understand why some of you have a problem - that the clip/spheres/balls aren't real. I think he/she has only tried to find an own solution to make something like this (without a lot of money).

It's a nice idea to re-create "big production-sets" and effects from ads, film and so on at your home-computer and to see also a good result and to know, that you "can" do a similiar thing with your own skills (most people can't do that).

  • yours looks alright, but you should have a look at the real one before you try and make yourself look like an expert. Sony did not use you techniques because it was real.

  • The difference being yours is shit and the real one is .... errr real.

  • Not the real thing AT ALL>looks very fake.

  • Very good! looks like the real commercial!

    but, HAHAHaHAHA.... that music :D:D:D:D

  • nice!

  • joa, nicht schlecht ^^

  • das läuft
