i grew up in cebu. migrated to this island paradise in 1966 from quezon city. cebu back then was unspoiled and with a sparse population. beaches were prestine and hardly a soul in sight except on week ends. there were no malls, GAISANO and WHITE GOLD are shopping buildings. downtown colon street was the main hub. cebu city back then was more of a town than a bustling metropolis. peaceful, undisturb and undiscovered. only cebuanos could have appreciated it's past.

ive been to cebu a few times and i dont like cebu city. i went to bantayan and malapascua, they are great :O)

I am just lucky because when I went to El Nido Palawan (lagen Island Resort) the weather was

incredibly wonderful. I would say I am one of very fortunate to visit this "paradise island"of my country PHILIPPINES. I am thankful because we're Blessed of beautiful island.

palawan airport? do u mean Puerto princesa airport? well there is about an eight hour bus to el nido from Puerto princesa. or u can just fly direct to El Nido from manila! thats what i recomend unless u want a long trip

cebu is ok, but its not the number one destination in the philippines its not even in the top 5 destinations, cebu is much more crowded than palawan too, lol do u know what u are talking about? i like cebu but palawan is less people and alot more impressive geologically speaking with outstanding beauty

number one destination in the philippines is obviously Boracay, undisputed

Theres a lot of beaches in the philippines same as boracay, boracay is too crowded. Go to Palawan, Cebu, Ilocos, Camarines, Iloilo and More. it's same as Boracay the white sand, the water and ofcourse the essence of fresh sea breeze.
