they only used this motor in the corolla cuz it was left over from the celica, THis was def the last good toyota motor if you dont count the Iforce v8

You are right it was just a left over..

the 2GR-FSE is one current F series engine, not a G series but kicks ass.

You will laugh but one of my favorite motors from Toyota is the 22re in my 89' pickup. Thing pulls like a tractor and gets 22mpg combined.
