I still remember the story of each of the Baldur's Gates. I just, not 2 days ago finished another new module in Neverwinter Nights. And I have probably played through KotOR more times than I'd care to admit by now.

Infinity Engine games were master pieces. One of its many predecessors the Eclipse engine would be damn near impossible to replicate half the shit it was capable of because of how flashy everything is it would take more work time and powerful machines. So they dumb it down to run on console as well and make it look cool so they make more sells.

They always do the same thing KOTOR, DA, ME they all feel like the same game to me if only Bioware wasn't afraid to try new things out they always keep doing the same old thing. I guess I was destined to love Bioware. I used to have my eye on their games even though I hated RPGs back then. I even bought NWN: Platinum when I saw it at the store and played a bit even though it wasn't my kind of game. Of course after that, I've been playing lots of RPGs and find myself getting every DLC for ME and ME2 along with DA:O Ultimate Edition. They are the kings of RPGs (most likely dethroned Square).

The problem with Valve, is their graphics all look extremely cold, while the gameplay is great, personally I find playing their games to be a rather depressing experience. They look like something out of a bad dream, sure it looks real enough, but its just not right, and not in the uncanny valley way either, more in the depressing European urban jungle sort of way.

Well the sad thing is, that mdk2 was actually quite bad.

Nothing new to the original mdk, even the more advanced 3d rendering didnt help,

design of the game was rather average. It looked strange and goofy indeed,

not mystical and paradimensional as the first one.
