  • the amazigh have there own alphabet called Tifinagh

  • Sorry, but Moors are Berbers and Arabs:

    Definition of Moor:

    Moor (mr)

    n.

    1. A member of a Muslim people of mixed Berber and Arab descent, now living chiefly in northwest Africa.

    .

  • In the spirit of taking back the power to define, we must overstand that yes, the ORIGINAL ARABS, were Moors, dark with woolly hair, Arabia being a colony of Kush ("Ethiopia") in ancient times and Berber being Roman propaganda for the Amazigh, descendants of the Carthaginian Moors who settled Marrakesh (original name for Morocco). I agree with you, but, Arab and Berber are loaded terms and lead to confusion if not defined. Thank you for your contribution to this dialogue.

  • @adalstef i guess u read that definition in a christian crusader's dictionary . khan khan mansa musa was a malian mande tribesman and was called a moor, gibral tarikh was a malian and a moor. the word arab and arabic was coined by the nubians of the nile. rsul allah's mother was abisinian kushite.. so sorry, moors freed their caucasian servants and pale skinned people became after our moorish culture but pale people are not moors or arabs

  • @adalstef 1828 Noah Webster's Dictionary of the English Language = MOOR, n. [Gr. dark, obscure.] A native of the northern coast of Africa, called by the Romans from the color of the people, Mauritania, the country of dark-complexioned people. The same country is now called Morocco, Tunis, Algiers, &c.

  • Brother you talk too fast and I need to understand what you are saying. I am in Cobb County, Ga are there any Moorish Temple close to me?

  • Islam,

Brother when you are on a limited time span (which when in the material plane is the case) you have to get as much truth as you can out in a short amount of time. I ask any students of mine to bring pen and paper, and an open mind when attending classes I teach. Remember, our group, our people, are playing catch up with the rest of the "civilized" world. As far as temples in Cobb County there aren't any, but if you would like to start a study group let me know!
