As a founding member of PETNHA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Non Human Astronauts ) I am appalled the the rocket does not come equipped with a crew escape system to separate the non human astronauts from the space vehicle if the launch system encounters difficulties .
Aerobees did a lot of the research, followed by the Terrapin series. Less well known nowadays are Project Navajo and the Martin Viking. Do you suppose any footage of those survive?
