  • Mule is a great interpreter of songs... I really like their originals but LOVE their covers (especially during the Woody era).

  • Great Waits cover! Every bit as cool as Waits's version without trying to emulate Tom.

  • Hah!! Badass! This song makes ya feel 12' tall.

  • Any info on this show (year/venue)? I'd love to get my hands on a FLAC file of this song, especially with Allen Woody driving the bass. Everything I have is circa 2008. Much thanks.

  • It's all in the details, 1996 Martyr's in Chicago. I have the whole video, but it is very bad lighting.

  • Thx, holmes. Don't see the "details" section. Im gonna look for the flac file now. If you care, I'll burn you a copy.

  • This is out of my personal collection, I don't think you'll find this show anywhere, but you never know.

  • I didn't. I found a bunch of shows in and around that time, whicb I am downloading FLAC files on as we speak, but did not specifically find your show.

  • What site did you find the shows on? Etree? Dime a dozen?

  • Etree.

  • Thanks Bro!

  • Good shit. I'd love to hear Haynes cover Downtown Train.

  • I love that effect that he sings through in the second verse. Not to bad for a Tom Waits cover.

  • Kick-ass vintage Mule! Thanks for sharing.

  • Wish it wasn't so dark, cool song though!
