Are The Dominican Sisters allowed to preach?? I grew up in the Roman Catholic Church, and Catholic Nuns were allowed to teach the dogmas, but they weren't allowed to preach.
Too bad. The world was deprived of their wisdom, and much was lost.
So much has been lost. Very sad. I live in a neighborhood with a lot of lesbian couples and their kids. They strum their guitars, stage protests, pass out flyers...not much different than these "sisters."
@mrsgarrettrocks So, if lesbian couples strumming guitars, passing out flyers, and protesting social injustice is so bad, then a (perceived) heterosexual couple with a father who is a pedophile, and a mother who keeps his secrets, and children who's voices are silenced through violence and intimidation is what..... socially acceptable??
I wish more orders had retained their habits. Women who are not the same on the inside shouldn't be the same on the outside, either. I think it's an important part of bringing religion back into our world that we have more visual reminders of its presence.

***Seem you're contradicting yourself here. Actually, with identical twins, triplets, etc. excepted, no two women (or men, girls, or boys) are the same on the inside; God created us as individuals. So, why should they look the same on the outside??
