It was the director of the video that had the accident and tarja didn't want the video shoot to be tainted by misfortune. It would have been such a great video :( It is ashamed it was never made however It leaves plenty for the interpretation of fan videos.

In some web page I had the oportunity to read yesterday that the video enough was released as a part of the single the seer wich i don't really understand because most of people say she hasn't. So I mean...I'm from argentina and I don't know a thing...Does anyone know anything?.

Los de la productora tenían todas las ganas de seguir, pero como el tipo se accidentó se iba a producir un retrazo en la fecha de lanzamiento, y Universal Music exigía en lanzar luego el single... aunque fuera sin video ._.

So this is going to be the response for the Bye Bye Beautiful now then.. I can't believe she is seriously responding with a music video. She even knows that in the next Nightwish album there wont be any songs considering her. Now she and her fans can have a good reason to say that Nightwish stopped making songs out of her because of this video etc. These people should sit down and talk their issues through, it's just sad to watch.

Hmm, I still belive this video is a cause of songs cosidering her and Marcello in DPP. I doubt that she she would make this kind of song/video so late just because of the overall attitude of Tuomas or the comments given in the open letter. If so why, why wasn't this her first single?

I'm not sure if it's just a response to bye bye beautiful, I think it's everything. I know songs like ever dream, beauty of the beast and forever yours are debatably not about her (I really think BBB cleared it up but apparently some dont?) but she's had to deal with his not so subtle guilt trips for so long and always painting her as the villain.

She was probably just like "whatever idc it's over now" then she saw stuff like BBB MPG and TPATP.

MPG is about her husband, therefore she has a right to get mad about the shit they said about him and TPATP was about his feelings about kicking her out.

Neither of these are assumptions, Tuomas said so himself.

But Poet is about a lot of things, hardly just singular to Tarja. Though she could be a factor (The "Dark Passion Play" part of the song) but don't be so bold as to make the whole song about her.

I'd be pretty fucking pissed off if somebody wrote a song like MPG about my husband. And "TPATP sums up my emotions during 05" - Tuomas and if you're going to say that TPATP isn't painting her as a villain then idk what song you're listening to. Of course the whole song wasn't about her but a significant part of it was therefore it is something she can get upset over.

There is no specific reference for Tarja in TPATP, you could say "performed by his friends without shame" could be one, but there isn't anything specific at all about it. I always thought it was more leaning to the expectations his friends offered, not an overall betrayal.Tuomas is a good enough writer to be specific when referring to specific people.

And you're right about MPG, relistening to it in mind to Tarja, she has a right to be angry. I apologize on that front. But I just think it's silly that she announced there were no more problems between Nightwish and her anymore but then she releases a song like this.
