@Girlygirlemc I actually connect the drum sets audio out into a midi interface called a Firepod, and that connects to the computer with a Firewire. Then I add some affects to the audio to make it sound live and a bit more realistic. Thanks for the comment!

It's a Simmons and there are very good electric sets out there which do give you huge variety in terms of the sounds you can produce, but when it comes down to it, in my opinion the best sounding stuff are high end real sets. I use electric because it's quieter for the neighbors, sounds fairly high end for a lower price and is easier to plug straight into my recording software. In the end I guess it depends how much money you're looking to spend, and what you want to do with the set.
