Turning Crimson loose on an unsuspecting audience is a bit like Bambi vs Godzilla. I love it! May Gods and Goddesses bless you, Masters Fripp, Lake, McDonald, Giles, Sinfield, Bruford, Wetton, Belew, Collins, Tippett, Burrell, Levin, Cross, Muir, Gunn, Mastelotto, and God Rest you, Ian Wallace. Thank you all.
@kurtsteele7 Dream theater, only problem, they were not in kindergarden yet when this came out...US is not the father or home of heavy metal either. You cant tell some people that? They will not get it whatever.. When i was growing up listening to hard rock, metal in 79. 80 the heavier bands were english.. Im american, and to me grand funk railroads not heavy..Even american psychedelic sounded country, The dead, country joe and fish, airplane, Hendrix had to go to london to make it first. aH

It's pretty telling that the U.S. has not produced a single progressive band that can stand up to the dozens of English ones.

Must have been a great time to be young and into music...right at the conception of progressive rock. We'll never see another time like it.

un documento storico di ineguagliabile valore.....il quasi esordio dei King Crimson
come gruppo spalla dei Rolling Stones, hanno offuscato le guest star con la loro grandezza!
