hi i just got my drivers license a year ago and ive been driving my grandpas old beat up yugo ever since...im basically scared to drive it cuz its so unreliable lol...so ive been working hard and ive got enuff money saved up for a decent car....im basically looking for a quality hybrid...so far the Honda CRZ and Honda Civic are my top 2 to decide between....any thoughts on the two which one do you guys recommend???
Sorry for the long msg it would be very appreciated if you replied, Thanks!
@FableAlbion Interior quality is below the Civic. If that doesn't matter to you, and you want something sporty and two door (and a little different), then the CR-Z is pretty fun. It's not fast though. At the same price, you can get a FORD Focus, which is peppier, more room and seems to understeer a whole lot less. But it's not a hybrid. Gas mileage is excellent for a petrol car though (up to 38 MPG). It's also a FORD, but it's pretty much a copy of the European version which is good.
@FableAlbion I`d say the CRZ is definitely more fun than a run of the mill Civic, esp if you are considering the Civic Hybrid. Stand out from the crowd.
Hey guys, how is the quality of the interior plastics? I know in the Fit, its very flimsy and cheap which is uncharacteristic of a Honda. Is the CR-Z quality more akin to the Accord? Or is it as bad as the fit? Thanks.
@Futurelooksdotcom On par with the Civic or worse? That kinda sucks b/c my mom has a Fit and not only were the door panels flimsy but the dash and console were scuffed up in a week. The Fit has really poor interior quality for a honda.
@romulus219 More "Fit-Like". We had some additional points in our written review. But given the price and the fun factor, we'd still recommend it. Modders have gone to town on this vehicle already.
Sport! Not speed kids that means it handles like one, yes speed is a factor but what's all that speed for if you cant turn, the end either hate it or like it
After driving and amateur racing 911 sc and a 04 911 turbo last 6 years.. this CRZ is great.. I got 52 MPG in econ mode for first week I owned it. More room inside then my 911 and much more technology. FUn to drive and in sports mode the handling and quickness is great. This is a great little sports car as well as a econ when I am in the mood for conservative driving..and plenty of mods if you want.. ask anyone that owns one .
This car would be amazing with a N/A 200hp k20.

i think the 0-60 is around 8.3 seconds which is faster than most turbo diesels...

@StrykerKnights Do a search on YouTube. I believe there is a Spoon CRZ and a Mugen CRZ, among others.

The music in the background is soooo repetiitve and boring. I need to close this review just to save myself some sanity. Otherwise, great review!

@romulus219 We thought it was "Fit Like". Really was a little cheap. Definitely below Accord quality.

@ImageGuyMikey Thx! Maybe not every month. Unless of course it's a supercar. Then we'd gladly make room for it in the schedule :)
