Unless someone can prove that geylang (or gelang as is written in the title) is a place in Singapura which is situated in Indonesia. Otherwise, it doesn't make sense for it to be Indonesian at all...if that is the case..would it be safe to say that Di Tanjung Katong, Anak Singapura and Majulah Singapura is from Indonesia as well?

Simply amazing for a non-malay .
It's sad the local malays don't even appreciate their culture and music and arts .
Generally in Sg ,the malays are the scum of the society ,they have the highest abortion rate ,school dropout rate ,crime rate ,divorce rate and the higest % to leave school after sec4 .
Its sad that the malays now are a far cry from the malays of the past -P. Ramlee ,Yusof Ishak ,Zubir Said ect .

Maybe so, but when I was teaching in Singapore some of my very top students were Malays, and I was quite impressed by the way a lot of the Malay students were involved in cultural activities, especially traditional singing and dancing.

Unless someone can prove that geylang (or gelang as is written in the title) is a place in Singapura which is situated in Indonesia. Otherwise, it doesn't make sense for it to be Indonesian at all...if that is the case..would it be safe to say that Di Tanjung Katong, Anak Singapura and Majulah Singapura is from Indonesia as well?
