  • is it ok, to use malwarebytes without any other antivirus ? just malwarebytes only.

  • @PojeMetal No

  • He did but on the virtual machine it doesn't know that very well.

  • activate windows already.

  • How much RAM does the pro version use while running on the background?

  • could i run this along my av,and comodo with d+??

  • Malwerbyte FTW

  • Great Job Mrizos (:

  • i have KIS 2011 With MBAM.

  • @HamumuALLEN2 I HAVE KIS 2012 WITH MBAM!

  • some one get my ip adress and he controll my computer. One time he switch steam off. So can anyone help me whit this? Please.

  • @modkipz You can't control someone's computer from getting their IP. Someone you know might have installed some remote access software on your pc so they can "get on" or, as you out it, "control" your pc from their house.

I highly doubt it though. I think you're mistaken.

  • Anyone started using D7? It's a portable AV/maintance app.

  • MalwareBytes is not worth it.

  • @mp3talon it is, prove me wrong

  • Just for your info, GFI (Sunbelt Software), recommends that MBAM pro not be running it's on-access scanner while running Vipre.

  • I thought this was a new MBAM with Antivirus :P

  • how about MBAM and nod32?

  • @flaco198111 MBAM will work together with pretty much anything so you'll be fine using the to of them together

  • @xxXaiderxx Two*

  • realy cool sir ...

  • this is stupid. Malwarebytes blocked the url but and about the malware itself? and if its coming in usb or a compacted file?

  • @Syobon3 MBAM is mainly for on demand scans, not for realtime protection. MBAM blocked the malicious url and therefore the malware couldn't infect the pc, but MBAM wouldn't (probably) block the malware from a USB. MBAMs realtime protection isn't all that extensive.

  • @xxXaiderxx the on-access scan is as good as the scanner itself, it does, however, scan only executable files when realtime is on (atleast so Ive heard), thats probably the only huge flaw in the realtime proctetion

  • What the bloody hell. For some reason i was unsubscribed for this channel.

  • 2 on-access AVs at the same time are never recommended.

  • Hey Matt can i use Malwarebytes PRO with Comodo internet security? If i can do i need to exlude anything

  • Try MalwareBytes Pro and Avast 6

  • Glad to see you're back Matt! Love your videos!

  • Threatfire slowed my PC down! And i'm running AMD Phenom 4x Processor, with 8 gigs of RAM! Norton + MalwareBytes = Near Absolute Protection!

  • @thamagickjumpoff Are you using NIS and TF @ the same time? Cuz NIS already implemented TF's technology into itself. I run NIS with MBAM too xD

  • @Khoathehacker Nah! I got rid of TF awhile ago! I didn't know NIS implemented TF's technology! Thanx for the heads up! Norton rockx!

  • Well it's weird MBAM on my PC us the free version and the trial has expired but it still realtime protects my PC...

It stopped some process called PMB.exe from creating connection to some malicious russian site...

    How???

  • Ironically, I usually have to update after it updates. Luckily if you pay for it, u can have auto-updates (i think). $25 1 time fee isn't much to ask.

  • Should I buy this if I have an Internet Security Suite?Or the title refers just to AV Suites like KAV?

  • welcome back Matt

  • Just saying, Threatfire is also a very good layered security solution, and its free!

  • I think,if I had to use such a bad antivirus as AVG free,I would use PrevX as a back stopper.I used PrevX a year on my old XP machine alone as an antivirus, with PC tools firewall, and nothing ever came in,although there was 3-4 clear attacks.

I use PrevX now with Window 7`s (64) own firewall, and it works perfect.

But I do have the free MBAM as an on demand scanner if I have a feeling something is fishy.Mbam is probably one of the best scanners, it finds most things.

  • @Nevigo Hehe. I recall trying the AVG 9.0 beta. It was so buggy that it definitely did not deserve to be called a beta version of the software. Maybe an alpha version, perhaps. I wrote off AVG after trying it for two weeks. And the current AVG plum won't run properly on older machines with only 512 MB of RAM.

  • Great Video.Malwarebytes' rocks!I also recommend it to anyone!:D

  • Is Immunet Protect as good as MBAM?

  • @Saddar The short answer is no. If you are looking for lightweight yet excellent AV protection, consider using Panda Cloud Antivirus since it is being constantly improved with core feature/detection development cycles as short as a couple of weeks. And you never have to bother with updating PCAV since that is done automatically. But I also keep the free version of MBAM on all of my computers and run MBAM from time to time as a sanity check to assure that nothing is lurking on my computers.

  • @Saddar Immunet is good but not as great as MBAM

  • PC Tools Internet Security and MalwareBytes Pro is unstoppable. I tried them on an infected machine recently and it blocked all of the 100 Pieces of malware that I threw at them. Incredible. However, I own a mac so I only use Sophos Anti-Virus for Mac, but if you have Windows, then it's incredible. Anyway, keep up the good work.

  • sandboxie ftw

  • If you purchase MBAM, you'll get a lifetime key. And just to point out that the trial lasts for 2 weeks, not for "a few days".

  • Sry for double posting, youtube bug, I am gonna remove my first comment.

  • Although I expected the CCE video, that was a very good demonstration. Thumbs up Matt!!

  • After Malwarebytes healed my computer - the malware knocked out both Avira and MS Security Essentials, neither would work) I went from using the free version of Malwarebytes to upgrading to the Pro. It was only something like £16 :)

  • Hey Matt! Is the key for MBAM a lifetime long or a year long and can you use it on many PC-s at once.

  • @Rayman400 it's lifetime per PC

  • I use MBAM Pro and Avast free antivirus :)

  • Comment removed

  • Bullguard10 and Malwarebytes can cause conflicts when you are using both real time scanners at the same time.

  • I'm using Threatfire (Free) by the guys who make SpywareDoctor and Registry Mechanic. It's pretty good.

  • Just tested the same Trojan Ransom with Comodo Internet Security and it takes care of it too :)

  • Can you delete some hijackment on my virtual computer , on teamviewer.

  • Currently I have Avast AV 6 (latest version) and the Free On-Demand version of Malware Bytes and have had no slowdowns or malware problems.

  • Thanks for the info!

  • in your or anyone else's opinion, what do you think about the effectiveness of using avast! Antivirus and COMODO firewall, both free programmes, both on latest update of course which includes a sandbox feature.

  • thanx Matt, you rockzorz

  • Hey Matt,

Would you be able to run MalwareBytes Pro along with Avast and Comodo Firewall without any problems?

  • Love ya Matt, glad to see you making videos again.

  • the only thing i hate about malwarebytes is its memory usage, but its come a long way though, any how its a really good product

  • make more short vid

  • Thanks for the video Matt.

Indeed MBAM's on-access does provide a great extra layer of protection.

  • Is MBAM Pro a subscription or a one time cost?

  • @spededpat yes it is you only have to pay once for a lifetime license and you can upgrade to new versions without having to pay for a new license

  • I tried Malwarebytes on 3 different computers in my house and it completely freezes them and the only way to shut them down is a hard shutdown. = (

  • I run the pro version on both of my computers and it works like a charm. It has stopped a lot of bad sites and any Trojans.

  • didn't you already review the pro version and conclude it was a wast of time because it wasn't really catching anything???

  • @colin8696908 that was probably 2-3 years ago.. things have changed I guess :D

  • @colin8696908 it's come a long long long way since then

  • @mrizos When was then? MBAM has been kicking malware in the ass for years.

  • nice

  • I have been using Microsoft Security Essentials with MBAM Pro... So far that config has been working for me...

  • Normally im used to this video being a half an hour

  • @I8PeeMehrdad79 yep, sometimes I get short and to the point.

  • Comment removed

  • @mrizos No I like them nice and long!

  • AVG is a POS

  • @bvestationfan yup the best one in my opinion is comodo internet security :D

  • @bvestationfan agreed it let my comp get over 500 infections raped of them with malware bytes :D i got comodo now :)

  • Nice (:

  • Great, but don't download anything I find suspicious anyway :P

  • @MadSupra354 Doesn't matter. Most malware files will force their way onto your PC without your consent.

  • @MadSupra354 if that was the case then no one would be infected.

  • @mrizos Yes, I know.

  • @mrizos Lol...You installed Norton Internet Security 2011 with Comodo...This will do a conflict...

  • excleent video Matt look forward to more. take care

  • Hi matt, Great video... as always. But... you failed to mention how overly sensitive

malwarebytes can be, blocking legitimate sites all to often. Don't get me wrong it's great, just to sensitive for everyday use.

  • @KainsLegacy78 Don't know, guess I haven't seen that with my installs.

  • downloading right now :D

  • That what I have

  • does the Pro license needs to be renewed??

  • @cxc90 no

  • Yeah buddy
